I met my man on the net (IRC)and before we met personaly we used to phone each other and to change mail. After a few months we met, we started dating and now four years later we decided to get married! We are still young and marriage is a big step? We have a baby.Do you know any similar situations that have worked out?

If your mate has issues what do you do. My spouse does not haev sex with me or do anything nice for me. She had a relationship which I think is more than what she admitted too. She admitted to only havings feelings for this man. I think it is much more because he wont stop contacting her. She even told him she loves him before. Anyway her parents only hear her side of the story and tell her she needs to leave me. We've only been married for 15 months now and it sucks. She is mean and hateful towards me and she always claims she is the sole provider when both of us have great jobs and pay all the bills together. Anytime I bring the relationship she had up, she gets mad like crazy mad and starts cursing etc. If I do anything, even if its small like not cleanign the restroom, she bitches about it all day.

Would you leave or what?

Also on my birthday, she didnt buy me anythign because she wanted me to stay home but I went out because I work 70 hrs a week and wanted to go ot

There was a little boy whose mother was about to have a baby. One day, the little boy walked in and saw his mother naked. He asked his mother what the hair between her legs was.

She responded, "It's my wash cloth."

Weeks later, after the mother had her baby, the young boy walked in on his mother again. While she was in the hospital, the doctor had shaved her pubic hair.

The boy asked, "What happened to your wash cloth?"

The mother responded, "I lost it."

The little boy, trying to be helpful, set out to find his mother's washcloth.

A few days later, he ran to his mother yelling and screaming, "I found your washcloth."

The mother, thinking that the child was just playing, went along with the boy and asked, "Where did you find it?"

The boy answered, "The maid has it! She is washing daddy's face with it."

Im married and share a child with this man of 10 years .. I have always accepted him as he was ..Through out our marriage he has changed - I was 1st girl he had ever been with he was in love with me the person I was at the time - well through out the years I have gained some weight that was a problam for him so ok im busting my *** to lose it and I am .. now he is just trying to change me all the way around .. he is trying to make me into someone im not ..I feel he is being a jerk I feel so disrespected I have fought so hard to keep our marriage together and im not sure why cuz I dont think ill ever be good enough for him - is he always gonna want to change something about me ?? he now wants me to cut my long curly hair ..straiten it and die it blonde ..among other stuff id rather not say LOL He is trying to change me into something im not .. the weight i understood but everything else it just seems to much - am i thinking to much into it

my ex hasnt been payingchild support for 1 year, when i filed the divorce, it was very simple. no child support and he can see his son anytime, with the expectation of him being a responsible dad and help out, but he hasn't so i filed. now he saying he wants to see our son. i do want them to have a relationship, but he's been hanging out with drug dealers at HIS house, and gambles. he was also charged early this year with assault with a deadly weapon at someone's property. he has even talked that a 9-5 job isnt good enuff and he need a side job. i wud love for him to see his son but scared of him unstable lifestyle, plus his ambition to get rich, while caring for our son. is that a good reason to file for full costody? state of California

i like this guy where i work but i feel so awkward and nervous around him cause i like him i find it hard to talk to him and need some advice. As how are we to progress if i find it hard talking to him incase i embarass myself. The thing is hes moved offices to the one next door. He has a checking account ,i cant get my own right now Only my money is in there, He seems to think that he can write a check and just pay me back when he feels like it. My boyfriend told his mother in front of me that she looked really good. OK...no big deal. That was nice of him. But, then he went on to say that she looked so good that if he was not her son, he would want to ask her out. I was appalled! Do you think this is creepy and how would you deal with it?

I think it bothers me also to know that he used to go into the bathroom while she was going up until the age of 14 when his Dad said no more.

My boyfriend of 3 yrs. knows my deepest darkest secrets. I fell in love with him because he was my best friend .We shared everything. I had never been in love before, and I am 44. Here's the question....due to circumstances beyond our control....long story .....my ex and child custody....etc.... We had to break up.
Now he threatens me ...that he will tell my family that my Dad sexually molested me for ten years...no one knows this but my ex, my sister, and him. What do I do? He says if I don't come back to him, he will write my Mom, who is 74, a letter by email and tell her the truth. I never told my mother because she had enough pain in her life due to my father's alcoholism and all. Why would he do this? Do you think he will? Should I wait and see? Should I tell my Mom first? My Dad is 78 now and on a feeding tube. He had cancer and radiation and all the rest. I don't know what my parents will do...it could cause them a heartattack or something. I don't condone it.

My boyfriend and I have been together for awhile and have discussed the views on this topic many times. We are both in agreement that we do not feel the need to be married to have a committed relationship. We both have friends that are married and very not happy in the current relationship and we do not want to be like them or become another statistic.

I have talked to others regarding our decision and most do not understand our views on not wanting to be married. I just wanted to know if anyone else knows of couples that are doing this and how well it is working for them. We are happy with our decision about our future...just wanted some views and opinions from other readers to see how they feel. Good or bad points welcomed.
