There is no "right time" to get married. When you both know there is no one else for you. Also when you are stable in a career, out of school and ready and willing to commit.

This is my standard advice: If you want to own a brand-new car - do it before you get married. If you want to travel the world - do it before you get married. If you want to finish college and travel a strong career track... do it before you get married. Once you're married - you're to busy, tired & broke to do many of these things.

But most importantly -- Before you marry - make sure that you're happy living with just yourself. Because it is far easier to change your circumstances if you're alone and unhappy than unhappy in a relationship.

The right time is when you have both discussed it and you both really feel its the next step and you want it to last at least 50 years!
