I'm aware this friend is struggling with life but hiding it & know her family either dont know or just are'nt helping, I'm not that close to this person and her closer friends are'nt aware either, how can I help? I'm quite concerned.

Several people suggested consuling when I listed my previous questions, but I only hit (well, shoved) my grandson ONCE and that was by mistake so..., plus the other time I didn't hit him. I can't afford to pay for that! Do I really have to get into concculing? Do I NEED IT?

I am annoyed my wife has left me to stay with her mother. I have only been proactive with her weight problem after our baby was born. She is at her mothers. I am well off and attractive and she left- it baffles me? I might call her bluff and live the singles life while she is gone.

i've gottin advice from people on here before but somehow nothing works.....its still my step-dad but now my mom and my real dad keep puttin s**t on me....all the time....like everyone who has answerd me before i am bout to turn 18.....and i am honestly thinkin about moving out and sayin to hell with em all and never talk again.....i've takin ppls advice on here but none of it wokrs...i trued to talk to them without yellin....didn't work.....i've just walked away and left the house for a few hours....got b**ched out when i got home...everything i am doin isn't working.....any other advice

And you were in a safe, sane, hygienic environment with a lot of control? What prompted this question was the book, "Brothel" by Alexa Albert. Fascinating and eye-opening.
So remember, it's just Yahoo Answers and you can be honest.
You know what would be nice: if I didn't get all the "Christian" fundamentalst nut-jobs writing to tell me I'm going to hell for even asking this and quoting Bible verses. That would be real nice.

Since I was about three years old, my mother has called me whores, bi*ches, sluts, tramps, you name it. She still calls me bad names when she gets really upset with me. She has two outside teenagers living with her now but they get the silver spoon treatement. My mother was the ultimate provider but such a mean parent. I've always felt like she hated my brother and me. My father physically abused her in front of us and she, in turn, abused us (more verbally and emotionally than anything). I am 29 years old now and still hurt tremendously from the things she has said and continues to say. She and my father are finally divorcing after nearly 40 years together and she is even meaner than before. Though, he turned a new leaf many years ago. I've forgiven him, but how can I forgive her if she continues to verbally abuse me. She wont take responsibility for what she did and what she continues to do. I think it's time to walk away from her. Should I? And how can I be strong enough to do it?
