My best friend and I are very close; it's uncanny most of the time. In most ways, she is the only family I have. Her boyfriend, who is now her husband, used to support and encourage our close relationship before they got married. Now it's almost as if he doesn't want me to have anything to do with her and vice versa. I mean, I can't even hug her or anything without him telling me to get off his wife. It's ridiculous! The only time he's okay with her giving me the majority of her attention is when he wants to play his video games. What do I do? I mean do I just let the relationship we have dwindle because he's jealous or do I try to fight to keep what we have?

So I told this girl, a friend, that I've liked for over three years, that I really liked her today. I asked her to a concert and she said yes, but then had to back out because of family reasons. She has been on my mind to a point where it might be unhealthy.

I told her everything today and, although she was sweet about it, she doesn't want to have a relationship right now. She said it wasn't because of me, but because she said that she doesn't fully know who she is right now.

I understand what's she saying, but it still hurts. It hurts to a point where I don't feel like doing anything. She is so perfect and it's killing me that I can't be with her...

I don't know what to do...

How do I get past this??

Today is the one year anniversary of being with my significant other. Not wedding anniversary- Just being together a year. So the plan was for us to go out to eat. So when we get there his cell phone rings and it is his guy friend and he tells him where we are eating and his guy friend and his friends girlfriend come there and meet us to eat. I just find it really inconsiderate because I had gotten a babysitter to watch my daughter so we could have some alone time for this occasion. So the whole time we were there I did not talk and now he is mad at me and is like what the hell is your problem. I guess he does not see that that was rude of him to invite his friends to something we were supposed to be celebrating alone. What do you think?

A friend of mine is leaving her spouce. He is well aware of the situation and as can be imagined he is upset but understanding. He is keeping the house for the time being and she has rented an apartment. She will need to start packing her belongings these next two weeks. What is the easiest way to do this with out it becoming awkward and uncomfortable for both of them?

so theres this guy that i'm technically just friends with but i think theres potential for something more. the thing is recently he invited me out to dinner and a movie and he paid for everything. i offered to pay for mine, because usually we each just pay for our own but he insisted on picking up the tab.
could that be considered a date even if it wasn't specified as one? does the fact that he insisted on paying mean anything at all? in general what does it mean when a guy pays?
