What is love, and why does it exist?

to me love is....hearing my kids call me "daddy" instead of dad....hearing my wife's voice on the phone when she would call me to say " i love you".
love exists, but you have to cherish it, protect it, and help it grow. love can be broken or betrayed, but it can also last forever and be the ties that bind you in a most wonderful way for the rest of your life.
I couldn't imagine a single day without spending some time with my wife. She was the first person I want to tell things to, and she knows me better than anyone ever has.
When you find someone you love like that, and who loves you like that, you'll know that true love is real, and protect it with all your heart!

Love is a dream that we all search for, it's a need that is with in that needs to be fulfilled so we all think.
but love to-day seems to have very little true meaning since most of the couples play the game,
And that comes with both sides we are all to blame it seems we all have wondering eyes and lets not forget those fast moving hands,
and always keep your eyes on your so called best friend because he is the one that will most likely take the first shot at playing the game,
With out thought of you or the one that you so deeply Love.
So back to the question ( what is Love )
Love is a deep inner need, because when it is found and shared in truth, it becomes the true foundation of your life.
and only then do you truly begin to understand the feeling of not being alone and empty, as most bachelors do feel at the end of each night.
But if you are Blessed to be lucky enough to find your soul mate always be Truthful...Caring...Loving...and always listen with an open mind as well as an open heart.
Then you life will be filled with the truest of happiness.
Just remember don't play the game with the Gift that she has given to you, hold it ever so Gently and treasure her as she will treasure you.
And your life will be built on the strongest fountains and that is

Love is a strong emotional attachment you feel for another person. It exists to bond a man and a woman together so they can form a family unit. Human children grow and mature very slowly compared to other animals. This slow growth leaves the baby dependent on its parents for a long period of time. A family unit bonded by love lasts longer and serves to raise the young in a better environment.

LOVE is a four letter word that does bad things and turns your life into a big mess and makes you do stupid things for no reason other than love
its like a flashlight that can be shined at anyone for any reason and then turned off without a warning

Not so sure............it is so hard to "love" but we do. We all want to believe in the person we are with, talk to them about anything without it being thrown in our face in an arguement, being unhibitted and just being able to be. But there is always a scared being in our minds because you just never know what is going to happen day to day. I love to love but somehow, it always comes out that "I am stupid for believing" so if you figure it out, let me know.
