love is unconditional,and if someone asks you why you love someone you can't speak it cause love is something that is felt.yes love is a feeling.do you have to answer why you love your children,no because you feel for them because they are yours

I think Socrates asked the same questions to the Athenians and still today nobody really knows the answers. The best I heard was this: love is laying down your life for another. In other words if you love someone truely you would put thier lives above your own even to the point of death.
Humm oh yeah and to mess things up, there are 3 types of love, Erotic, Brotherly and God to man love.

IMHO love is caring and sharing of yourself, your ideals, your fears, your hopes and dreams. Love is being real, allowing the other person to see your good side as well as your not so good side. True love involves sacrifice and commitment and the determination to make things work, even when the chips are down. True love is truly for better or worse and most of us are better people for having experienced it at least once in our lifetimes.

love completes what we are missing if we never had it then we would always be confused and searching for something all the time. love is when someone completes u and will never hurt you...who is willing to spend the rest of thier life with u and is willing to die for you.
