i am a single women and all my friends are in relationships.thing is my son goes to his dads at the weekend so i would like to go out on a saturday night but as my friends have there partners dont wanna go out.its starting to get me down that i never go out and have the chance to meet someone .

I started a relationship with a taken man who lived with someone for 5 years and she was pregnant with there child. Initially I was in it for sex, about 5 months later, we fell in love. When I said I couldn't deal with him still living with her, he moved out and was staying with his mother. We had a great relationship, the best either of us had ever had. We talked about marriage, kids, our future together. I hung out with his family. He met mine, who lived in another state. We communicated, had fun, had great sex, and could sit and do nothing and have a great time. His son is 8 months old now. The baby mama will not allow him to see his son when he talks about me. So he doesn't. I found out 2 days ago that since he has been able to see his son in the last month he has also been sleeping with the baby mama. I talked to both of them about it and he admitted to it. I thought he really loved me. Now he is talking about getting back with herbut is still not sure. What happened?

How come some people who've had a really awful childhood can make a good and stable life for themselves, get a job, decent hubby etc with no apparent ill effects, yet others who've had the same experiences turn to crime, alcohol, drugs etc? Is it completely down to a person's genes or is it more spiritual than that? I know two people who are sisters and only a year between them, they both had a really awful childhood with a violent father, yet the older one is now going from one violent partner to another, she has 3 kids who she doesn't care about as she's cut off from all her emotions, and she takes drugs, drinks etc. She lost her council home due to spending all her money on drugs. On the other hand her sister is living with her long term boyfriend and has just had a little boy who she clearly loves, and she has a part time job to support her family. Why is it that people grow up so differently from the same experiences? Is it all to do with personality or individual life purpose?

I met him online and it was just supposed to be dinner to make me feel better because I got stood up. We ended up talking for 5 hrs and the longer we talked the more I couldnt stop looking into his eyes. He is 10yrs older than I am (IM 27 and hes 37) but we have the same desires for the future. (Living in Tennesee and having many children) we have alot of similarities and such for country music, good friends and cooking. We both appreciate the little thigns in life and he told him that he would marry me tomorrow. IM a little scared but also feel very complete. I know take it slow but should I be afraid and cautious or just go with the flow?? WE both are professionals. Also I have a 6 yr old child to consider. I just want opinions. I certainly dont plan on getting married anytime soon. I just dont know if I should date him exclusively or continue to date many people and wait it out instead of focusing on him and our relationship. Thank you for any suggestions :)

My husband and I are 19 and 20.. Im 37 weeks preggo. He doesnt see an issue when he invites his guy friend over with his prospective girlfriend and her extremely cute friend that is single that he knew vaguely in high school to drink vodka while Im at work.. I managed to get off work to a drag show that they were all going to and I was totally left out! My husband and these other people sat in a circle and I just so happened to be on the backside of it. The single girl even sat in his lap! He sat in hers! all the while Im sitting outside the circle right behind him by myself. Afterwards we went out to eat with a booth that seats 4, guess who had to sit in a booth by herself... fat preggo wife. He is even trying to get her a job where he works... He doesnt see how this upsets me! The next day after I told him how hurt I was about the girl he drove to her house by himself to get his jacket and wallet that she ended up with! Shouldnt she have dropped it off at his friends house?

A lot of people say that what makes a person perfect for them is simply just their personality. But let's face it, none of us are saints so let's get a little shallow for a moment.

What factors make a girl perfect? Large, medium, or small breasts? Smooth skin or tomboy weathered? Delicate hands or hard working fingers? Pale or tanned skin? Short, medium or long hair? Natural or dyed hair? Black or blonde or red or brunette? Light make up or show girl style paint? Tall or short? Large or small or average feet? A pessimistic view of the world, a smiling dreamer, a combination of the two? A love of music or sports? Swimsuit model skinny or home maker chunky? No body hair or the ocassional shave? Health above appearance or appearance above health?

Don't spare a single detail. Just give me your full opinion.

This is just a spur moment thought. I came up with it after a personal plan to begin improving my appearance. I can't wait to be hot again, and I hope some one approves.

My fiancee has recently come into a windfall from selling one of her businesses (software design) but doesn't want to flaunt it and in fact has been extremely low-key that she pocketed in the low seven figures. We're just now starting to plan our wedding (it's the first time for both of us--I'm 31, she's 33) and I realize that it's traditional for the bride's family to pay for the wedding and reception, but we really don't want any unnecessary money to be spent by anyone, although we can afford a few frills in the ceremony and reception, not to mention a really kick-butt honeymoon. Her family spent no small amounts of money for her two sisters' weddings (both of them are in their mid-20s) but we'd much rather that her family give a comparable sum to charity if they are intent on spending money for this, and likewise we'd like for our guests to give to charity instead of to us, but how can we do this without raising eyebrows that we're foregoing the usual traditional gifts and stuff?

I know what the typical answers are. But just to elaborate on this relationship. This man and I have been friends for over a year, and gradually it grew into a much deeper feeling. Possibly on both sides. He has told me he loves me, but I have yet to return the saying. I feel bad about his wife, but I don't feel guilty for loving him. It seems right to me. I know that he feels very deeply for me. I have discussed this with a very close friend and she asks if I expect him to leave his wife. I don't know how to answer that question. I couldn't ask him to do that, but if he did I would be very happy. I do love this man. He is quite possibly my soulmate. The problem I have is, do I let him go now, or do I pursue this relationship and posibily get the man of my dreams? The marriage is not a happy one. They married because she got pregnant. We have not been intimate and I do not plan on being until he is divorced. Please don't answer if you don't have some CONSTRUCTIVE advice!
