My son Zachary, 4, came screaming out of the bathroom to tell me he'd dropped his toothbrush in the toilet. So I fished it out and threw it in the garbage. Zachary stood there thinking for a moment, then ran to my bathroom and came out with my toothbrush. He held it up and said with a charming little smile, "We better throw this one out too then, 'cause it fell in the toilet a few days ago."

I've been engaged twice to two different jerks, once when I was 18, he was 24, and when I was 21, he was 27. Now I'm 24 with a man from my company who works in another office location, who just turned 49. He's absolutely amazing, he's genuine, kind, well respected, takes excellent care of himself, he works out, eats well, and is in great health! He liked me for quite a while, and so did I but neither of us knew, until one day we started talking, and went out for dinner. We've been together ever since (5 months) We love each other, we totally click, we talk, and listen, and laugh, he's so understanding, treats me with dignity and respect and knows exactly how to make me happy. We just love being together. He's been divorced for 6 years, and says that he's the happiest he's ever been with me. I am the happiest I've ever been with him. My mother is giving me hell because of his age, and our religious differences, and I just have to know..if it feels so right, then how can it be so wrong?

this girl i met on vacation asked me for my email numerous times, always mentioning meeting up after getting back to the states. however, although she does reply to my emails and phone calls, it usually takes her at least a week or two to get back to me. in the last email, she said shes working almost full time and going to school. said she misses me and will call me soon, but its been a week and she hasnt. also out of the blue said it totally looks like i go to the gym a lot, in the same email.

when i met her on vacation she flirted with me a few times, including mentioning that i smell good when i put on cologne and then proceeded to put her nose on my neck. also said, where were you i was waiting for u to come down so we could go out.

what do u think...she's trying to get me off her back, she's really busy but wants to be friends, or she likes me?

Heres the thing..my boyfriend has this thing about honesty. We broke up in the past because I kept something from him that I knew would upset him and when he found out he couldn't even look at me... But we got back together later anyway and I promised to always be honest no matter what. So i took it quite seriously. I've just started uni and I've made alot of male friends and he keeps asking me if I find them attractive or more attractive than him. So i said 'they are good looking people but I am not attracted to them' which is the truth. So he got really sad saying how i didnt care about him and that i must think he's ugly or something. now he keeps questionng me all the time about ex boyfriends and people i know and if i think they are better looking than him. He has such low self esteem right now and it's obviously my fault cos' I don't think my bf is extremely good looking really. I could have lied but I learned that lying got me nowhere in the past. I have had a huge crush on this guy I play chamber music with for about 3 months. The relationship has been pretty undefined, with some flirting, but also, with him not talking about the fact that he has a girlfriend. Finally, my friend Nikki asked him point-blank if he had a significant other, and he said he had a girlfriend. I was sad and angry, because of all of the flirting, but I also felt some relief. Now, I feel that I can begin looking for other guys again and being able to relax and treat him as more of a friend. I was thinking of writing him and saying pretty much directly that I am interested in pursuing a friendhsip with him, and suggest something we could do together, as we won't be seeing each other for a couple of weeks because the chamber music group isn't meeting. I think we can offer each other a lot as friends, but I have been uncomfortable with this unspoken fact of this girlfriend and the mixed signals and tension. Can I do this? I started dating this guy a few months ago and everything was going really great until I started noticing a few weeks ago that he seemed a little distant. Right about the same time, I started taking birth control pills, which turned me into an insane mess...I started doing all the wrong things...you know...questioning him a little bit here and there and snapped at him a few times for no real reason.
