Depends, cause all I read was girl loves guy alot, not the other way around....not to mention this is 9th grade, which means ya'll are around 15-16 years old....by the time you guys get to 18, graduate from high school, ya'll would have gotten over the puppy love and move on to bigger and better things...RARELY do people who date in high school stick with each other after high school, specially those who go to college, for some ungodly reason people believe they need to open themselves to the world and go 'find themselves'. But it IS possible, i've seen some high school sweethearts stay together til the end...but from the scenario you just gave i HIGHLY doubt it.

You might think you have no chance, but you DO have something in common and that's soccer. I think you should talk to him without feeling annoying. What if you invited him to a movie or something, not alone though, that will probably make him uncomfortable. Invite some of your friends that you know he's friends with too. Try to figure out what he likes in a girl. If he doesn't describe you, he's not worth changing for. No guy is. So I hope I helped, good luck!

He probably doesn't care right now -quotes "He's in the 9th grade"- He'll come to find out that there is a bunch more to life than a relationship at that awkward stage in life and he is probably just liking the attention right now.

Your question is not very clear, but it has nothing to do with giving. If there is love then give and take disappears between those lovers. It is emotion of love. One gives with love and other takes it with love and respect. Keeping an account does not exist there.

9th grade?
I'll say it would be the attention, but we'll never know once she's left.
