I recently had a fight with my mom in law and sis in law b/c I would not letmy 4 yr old daughter have desert b/c she did not eat her dinner. But yet they gave it to her anyway and told me that my rule were stupid. My husband agrees with them and they really hurt my feelings. What do I do I just cannot take the disregard of my rules being over ruled by people who did not give birth to these children, and I do not know how to address them in a manner that gets my point across. Please help! I feel like I have lost a family that i love very much.

Aftera failing bus & losing loads of money my husband and i both got good jobs. I couldn't believe our luck - I thought finally we could make up for lost time. Then back in April after my husband told me all the money that had been disappearing from out accout (about $1200/month) he'd been spending on booze & drugs & lately a counsellor he'd found in town (at $80/time-he'd told me it was bus. expenses & would be paid back) Said he didn't know if he loved me or what he wanted. I put it down to depression after losing the bus etc. Things seemed to settle for a while, but he could see his job was finishing then I realised in the last 2 months he's "spent" $3300. Obviously I'd asked, & once again he promised it was work related. Well, he fessed up when I told him I wasn't stupid - drugs, booze & I don't know what else. I'm sure there's more to it. He says he feels like a failure, cant provide etc but he WILL NOT talk to me about it. We have 2 kids (11 & 15) I'm gutted by the lies

another woman that he says is just his friend and that he is definitely not into her? I know he has to get up early to handle some business very early and that is my excuse for him but something inside of me cant let it go. Should I keep calling and calling? I can't go to sleep... What should I do? I don't want to seem immature but this is killing me. If I could speak to him, I would feel better. Please let me know what I should do..

I will give my circumstance first and then ask my question.

My self any my boyfriend had been in a 2 year relationship. He goes away for a summer vacation every year by himself that i cannot go with him to for various reasons. It takes a great deal of trust on my part of him. I do trust him, but it really presses me to my limit. This year he decided to press me further and dive 3 days alone with a female companion. What upset me with this is that they shared a motel room on the road to save money. He saved $80.00 for the one night. He makes over $80,000 a year so money is really not an issue to him. He did want to save the money and did not think it was a big deal.

Here is my question if she suposidly cares deeply for my boyfiend as a friend and has her own boyfiend why was she puzzeled that I was upset and not apologetic that this cascaded into so many problems for us that he lost me his girlfiend of 2 years?

I went to highschool homecoming with this girl who is very shy. During the dance, i felt like i was really breaking her shell and we had a really good time. During the afterparty, we played lots and lots of games with sexual themes. WHat surprised me the most was how little she knew about sex. Its not like i really want sex from her, cuz shes a nice girl, but its just so sad. And all herfriends are really outgoing and had to explain everything to her. Im wondering if i shud ask one of her friends to teach her some stuff. I really like her too, but its just a little weird, shes so out of it. Shud i ask her friend , who is not a virgin, to help her break out of her shell?

Haven't seen my b/f in almost 6mo b/c he lives in another state. He promised to come see me this month but one day before him catching his flight he calls to tell me he can't come b/c his business partner mother died and he was not coming. I was so excited to see him and now very very disappointed. After that happened i stopped talking/texting him. Is it wrong to be mad at him?

First, let me say that I am a heterosexual woman and I am married to a heterosexual man. I realize that we live in a predominantly Christian nation but we are also a democracy which allows all race and religions to be accepted so I don't understand why same sex marriage has to be a problem. There are religions in the U.S. that have no problem with same sex couples and allowing them to be married. Why force Christian beliefs on a nation of many beliefs? It really has no effect on us if they are allowed to be married except for our own personal and religious morals and ethics; but they are ours and not theirs.

Think about the fact the devout Mormons don't drink caffeinated drinks...if Mormonism was the predominant religion; would we ban all caffeinated drinks? Yes this is a little different but the same in some way. We would be banning something that one religion didn't agree with, when society as a whole is more diverse than that.

Why disallow it when it only hinders your morals?

I met a guy who’s been causing me so much worry. At 1st I thought I was just happy helping him out in his work because we are working on the same company. I can sense that I’m starting to like him as well. I used to be picky when it comes to suitors but even knowing some bad stuff about him; still, I always entertain his calls. I was blinded by those hopes and wishes bout his future plans because he used to have this bad guy image few years back. I can sense that he was such a deep man just don’t know where and how to start. Unluckily, I found out that he’s starting to do the same bad stuff again (drugs). So I felt all my efforts to change him to a better person were wasted. My mind says get away from him but my heart says maybe it was me who could still help him out. A concern friend asks him to keep away from me but he replied it was only me who inspires him to be a changed man. I am afraid that if I stop communicating with him he’ll be a total wreck person. what shall i do?

Answer honestly. What is the first thing that rushes through your minds when you see a guy? What makes you take a second look? Is it looks, brains, or both?

Me and my boyfriend of 3 years just recently broke up. Im scared that im gunna screw up my college classes now because sometimes i feel to upset to concentrate. What also really scares me is that we have the exact same friends so there is a good chance that we will be seeing eachother. I just dont want this to ruin everything ive got going for me. Weve broken up before and i know how terrible i felt until we got back together and i just dont want that anymore. Im pretty sure that we are done for good now and im just having a hard time accepting that. I know that time heals all wounds but i dont want to fail my classes. i know there is nothing anyone could do to help but does anyone know of any really good ways to get over it?
