I am going out with a girl, she is kind of over weight but there is something that I like about her. But my friends usually like only girls that are sexy, and I dont know if Ishould tell them. And well my girl says that she likes me too, and well I feel that I like her more and more as seconds pass. I am not sure what i should do, should i care about what they say, please I need some advise.

your friends should accept your choice and be happy for you that you found somebody albeit overweight that you like. If they act differently then maybe they are not as true as you think they are.

well first ask yourself if your friends are going to be the one dating her, and if they are then you should care what they think. But if i could only guess that you have friends that could easily be young and immature and of course shallow, then they wont realize that it shouldnt matter her size, what should matter is that their friend is happy. And you would be considered a friend if they truely wanted you to be happy. Thats whats most important. And think of it this way, i could almost guarantee you that if they get girlfriends that are classically skinny and beautiful....then sometime down the line they will turn out being the over weight dude that sits on the couch all day, or their perfect girlfriend/wife will be over weight as well. What i am trying to get at is that you SHOULDNT CARE, do what makes you feel good.

Ur friend dont like/love sexy girls they are lusted for them-they are 2 different things u see and even if you would like a sexy or skinny girl remember this is 21st century their are 1000 of ways to loose weight and i am sure at least 200 of them will work. You r in love with her just stick with her and don't worry about friends that are not really friends u see what i mean. maybe not i am confused... g2g. best of luck

No, don't listen to your friends what they have to say about your girlfriend, because this would be disrespectful. As long as you are comfortable with it, that's the important part. Everybody has a different taste and preference and I like to hear that somebody is not just looking at the outer shell of a person. You like that girl, go out with her and take her on walks, she might even loose some pounds.

OMG, get over yourself, your image, and what your friends think. If you like the girl go out with her, the physical image fades over time and the "hotties" your friends like will one day too probably be a little over weight.

And coming from a girl who is considered a little overweight, we try harder and do more for our men. Also since we are prejudiced against for our looks we are better at conversation, have fun watching the game, and are usually more low key.

You have probably found yourself a winner, don't let your friends put the brakes on for you.

First, is this girl sexy in your eyes? And if so don't listen to them, looks are not what makes A women, in fact in the end I say 30% looks 70% personality, trust me married men can back me on this.

You are the one going out with the girl, not your friends. Therefore, you shouldn't worry about what they have to say! In the event that they say nasty things, be sure to pipe up and defend her. This is your life, don't let your friends dictate what type of girl you "should" like! Good luck and congrats on the girl :)

Im juts gonna do what I feel like doing and if my friends dont respect my desicion, they dont respect me, so there not good friends. I really hope they will accept her someday. Good luck

Looking out for your best interest is one thing, but discouraging your relationship with a girl because of their own particular tastes doesnt fall into that catagory of a caring or concerned friend.
You just tell them that their narrow minded tastes will only narrow their field of choice and this gal rocks ur world. ;)

Depends on how much YOU like this girl, not how your friends may or may not like her. If you bow down to your friends on this one, you more than likely will regret it in the long run. It happened to me ( I still regret it to this day) now, he's very successful, freaking GORGEOUS! (defiantely lost all that baby fat) and has a gorgeous wife! Now, my stupid friends are like, "Dang!, if we'd only known!" So, don't be shallow.
On the other hand, if you really do like this girl...you wouldn't even be questioning it. Either way, don't leave this girl hanging, imagine how hurt she'd be if she knew you were already doubting it). It's not fair for her to be hurt, just because your friends may or may not agree. Just ask yourself how much DO you like her?
