Unfortunately Layla the answer to your question is, yes. In fact, few relationships are established by two individuals that have a thorough and complete understanding of their partner. The majority of these relationships are based on 'infatuation' which is the scientific term used to describe 'love at first sight'. Nevertheless, true love can only exist in an environment where both parties are eager to learn about the other. These individuals must also be willing to spend the necessary time to build and nurture the relationship to a point where love can thrive, while avoiding criticism and conflict by implementing patience and positive communication techniques.

Yes. As my grandfather said: "Love will go where its sent, even if its sent to a horse's a*ss ... ". "Falling In Love" is different from a lifelong committment. It is just as important, but different. It is that overflowing infatuation where you believe there is some eternal bond between you. It can happen in an instant. It can happen in only a short time. The more you know yourself, and the better you are at discerning the sensibilities of others, the more likely this "in loveness" will be "real" and grow into a full mature committment that is joyful and effortless.

Remember, you NEVER know everything about a person. There will always come a day when your beloved will say or do something that is completely unexpected and will really slug you right in the stomach. So ... "knowing everything" is never a good test. There are many others ...

... but being "in love" is a very good start. Good luck.

Layla, I love all the questions you ask on here. I've been with someone for 13 years and I still don't know everything about that person. It makes it difficult to continue a relationship. Especially when you find someone else, weather it's love or lust. Don't forget to keep smiling because someone is smiling at you.

You will never know EVERYTHING about the person you love no matter what. So the answer is yes. But love means you want to know more and more and you cant imagine not know from here on out.

it is lust honey not love. Love is unconditional and everlasting That's why when one falls in love with another because of the understanding and commit-meant, getting to know that person likes and dislikes. Lust is when someone is so attractive you want them like right now . you think you guys are meant for one another. Just give it some time and you will see the light.

Well, I don't think that it is gud to fall in love without knowing everything...well if it is just for a timepass, then its ok to go ahead. Whereas, if you have a true feeling of love and u want tht person in ur life, u may need to knw how tht person is, such as character, lifestyle, etc etc.
