A good friend of mine just broke up with her boyfriend of about two years. I have been talking to this friend for about a year now after not talking to her for about five years. I was away at college and then moved back into the area and reconnected with her. I want to ask her out but am very afraid of losing her as a friend, but am very attracted to her. I told her about three months ago that I had feelings for her. So, I am wondering how long do I give her before I ask her out?

my grandma is an abusive alcohalic and constantly slaps me around especially when we have company. the worst part of it is everyone always laughs and points when she does it. even the police think its a big joke.i try fighting back but she just over powers me and gets more mad. shes 78 years old and 100 lbs of mean bit(h. i cant take it anymore what do i do?

What country would you emigrate to and why?

I'd go to New Zealand because it seems quite similar to Yorkshire but there is more space, it is more unspoilt and the people see to actual care about the street they live on.

I've been married to my wonderful husband for 2 years. I love his family dearly but I have on big problem. His grandmother hates me! She constantly ridicules, insults and pesters me about everything and anything under the sun. I don't want to cause any rifts with the family but the way she acts has taken a toll on me visiting his family (after her husband died she moved in with her son, my husbands dad). What can I do or say to get her off my back and make family visits a more enjoyable event?

As Children My Dad took all three boys hunting. My older brother liked it, the middle brother and myself did not. My older brother has been taking 90 percent of His vacations for hunting. Over going with His Wife and Children.

He said She is welcome to come anywhere He goes.

He took his boys for years, but they do not go now.

The end of October is His wedding anniversary, and the middle of November His Wife will turn 50. His plans right now are to go hunting the first week, full week, in November. Over going with His Wife to celebrate either, or both events.

She is saying that She can not do this anymore, that She shouldn't have put up with it this long. We really love Her, and Want to Wake Him Up, but He is stubborn.

What do You think?

And before everyone thinks this is about Me, it isn't. I took My Family to Disneyland this summer, and took My Wife to Cancun for Our wedding anniversery.

The kicker is I work for my Husbands families buisness. The two people that drive me to drink are his uncle who "runs" the place and a lady who has worked here for 20 years, so she thinks she "runs" the place also. I am 24 and do not stand up for myself. They treat me like crap. I try to be mean to them but then I feel bad. What can I do? The latest is this cat wondered in and everyone else wanted to keep it (About 10 of us) including my husbands father who is the owner. Well "uncle" and this lady said NO! "uncle" said he'd kill it and she said she'd quit (everyone was happy when she said she was going to quit). So for the cats sake, we had to send it to a farm. How can I get back at them? My ex-boyfriend and I are still best friends, we did the long distance thing but I trust him with everything I am. There was this other woman at the time that we were together that would say and do horrible things regarding me in order to get rid of me, she would follow him, pretty much stalking, and was referred to by tons of people as a ticking time bomb. She now claims that they are married and the babies she had are his. The day she claims they got married he called and talked to me 3 times, for well over an hour each time. I'm not buying her story, he calls me all the time, and would still do anything in this world for me.
