i am going on my first formal date with my boyfriend... we've been out for movies n been to clubs before also but this time its special romantic dinner n then clubbing...now i am wearing a really cute mini skirt just above my knees n a tube top with tie on flats n i'll get my hair blow dried...girls n even guys do u think its good n appropriate coz i wanna look hot but not inappropriate if u know what i mean...

Wear a jacket, wrap, or a shrug- to class up the tube top for your dinner and remove it before you go into the club.

It's not appropriate for dinner, no. Especially if it's somewhere special.
Wear a shrug, shawl, jacket or something similar over the tube top if you can, at least for dinner... Once you go to the club, just take it off.

sounds like you're just dressed for the club, not a romantic dinner. skip the tube top and wear a nice shirt. you can change in the car or something, but don't go to a nice restaurant dressed like a tramp
