He stopped drinking for about 3 years because he nearly died from pancreatitis. He was in shock and he was going thru alcohol withdrawl and they sedated him heavily with ativan and morphine for about a month. He started drinking again early last winter when his daughter and son in law moved in with their kids and drank in his house every nite. I think he wanted to be "one of the boys" not understanding he has a serious problem. Now it is out of control. It is profoundly affecting our relationship. Drunk about 3 months ago. he took an excessive amount of fast acting insulin thinking it was the slow acting kind and nearly killed himself. His drunk relatives could not see him sweating profusely, all grey colored and literally dying. If I had not walked into his house , he would have died. He had to go to the hospital and get a glucose infusion. He took 60 units of humalog in error.
I cannot take this. Its tearing me up. How do I just walk away?
I dont feel like I can take this.

This girl and me were really close, we would stay up till 12 in the mornin talkin sometime, now that mite not be alot, but it is for her, she is homeschooled, I go to public school. Well I asked her to the movies, and she said Idk maybe , and REALLy backed off, she seemed nervous around me, I thought she just didnt wanna hurt my feelings, but she told her friends, she just wants to see if I can stick with her. Well we got further and further apart, until I couldnt stand it anymore and I emailed her, spilled my guts, and asked her to be brutally honest on how she fealt about me, heres what she said

well first of all, I don't hate you. second, I haven't been avoiding you either becuase its not been just swimming that I've been busy with its been life.I also haven't been beating around the bush because you never asked me if I did or not. But I haven't ever thought of being more than friends with you because we've always been good friends and I think thats how things should stay.I just don't want to ruin a friendship.hope you've had a good day, and i will talk to you later

Now, When I read that two things come to mind. One, that she is just trying to be nice. But on the other hand, she is just scared, because she has never had a bf b4, and weve been friends since age 7.

But now she seems more comfortable around me, like now she talks more, and seems more comfortable, but then she'll seem like she wants me, I can tell by the way she looks, and the way she acts, she just seems really sad, and down,

Oh yeah, and she told her mom , that she is just really really scared, and that she does like me, but she told her friends she just dont want to hurt my feelings, now her and her mom are really close, but so are her and her friends, Do you think she likes me, or is just letting me down easy?

And I am respecting her wishes, I emailed her and told her that I respect her decision, and we havent talked about it since.

But I really really do care for her, I wake up and she's the first thing I think about, I go to sleep and Fall asleep thinking about her. I mean I know I'm only 15, but I really do love her, and would do anything in this world to be with her. I've tried moving on, I've been trying to do that, but I just can't. Even though I am am guy, yes I have cried numerous time for her, and about her. I mean, I'm not ugly, I'm fit, and I'm not a big geek or anything, so what gives? I really do love her, what should I do?

Okay theres this guy in my school and my classes are always next to his. At break he always talks to me,and also at lunch.He always says something about me or something so i can chase him,he always hangs out in my favorite hall. When we are walking back to class he puts his arm around me. After school 2 days ago we were walking home together and my friend was with us and i had to tie my shoe and he waited for me then he put his arm around me.But when people ask him if he likes me he says no..but he calls me alot.everytime we push each other for fun he always grabs me and hugs me. He is recently divorced, and now after meeting and seeing eachother realizes that he still loves his ex-wife. She is with someone else now but still hopes she'll come back. The problem for me is my heart is now attached, have been falling in love as such...what should I do? He is an incredible guy...and has many incredible qualities. I can't use that one though, its overused, and everyone will recognize that from the movie. Anyone know a similiar quote? I am so alone. I'm married to a man that has used cocaine for 8 mths that I have known, but he has used a lot longer. He almost died. The distrust I have, I don't know how to overcome it. Would u date 1 of ur best friends thats a boy & isn't exactly.... "popular" when ur the 3rd most popular girl that's in the class? & also when I'm better friends with guys than girls.
~32 kids in our class~ I talk 2 boys, ALL THE TIME, & I don't want him ta think I'm like cheating on him with any of his friends, I'm cute, sweet, popular, cool, loveable, kind, gentle, mysterious, etc., etc., BLAH BLAH BLAH! My best friend is moving away and I have no idea what to give her before she does. We have been best friends since third grade and now it is our junior year of high school and she has to go.
