He is recently divorced, and now after meeting and seeing eachother realizes that he still loves his ex-wife. She is with someone else now but still hopes she'll come back. The problem for me is my heart is now attached, have been falling in love as such...what should I do? He is an incredible guy...and has many incredible qualities. As we got to know eachother I found that we have much in common and feel he is worth "any" effort...do I be patient or give up? Anyone have advise...It took me a long time to move on from my ex boyfriend after 4 years...so I do understand

It has been difficult to find someone who could appreciate me for me and have the qualities of a person I want for my partner...I believe God has brought us together, but still not sure if it's for the reasons I want...

Tell him exactly what you just told us. Then ask him to make a choice.

If he wants to have you in his life, he needs to stop chasing his ex. If he wants to chase his ex, he should do so without you. You shouldn't settle for being his #2 choice, to be dumped if/when his ex ever comes back on the market. That's not fair to you, and he should realize that.

He may love her, but there's a reason why she's not his wife anymore. Ask what that reason is. If he's honest with himself, he'll probably realize that his marriage is over, his wife has moved on, and there's very little chance of her coming back to him - especially since she's seeing someone else.

I honestly think you should move on because it's hard to date someone who was married or had a child with another woman, that woman will always be part of their life. You may have some trust issues. It's definitely hard to get over someone, believe me, I was in a 7 year relationship, but you have to move on for you. Do it now so that you don't get too attached. There are plenty of people out there that one day you will fall in love with that one man.
