Your right, you do need to get out of this abusive relationship.
I'm not sure if you're talking about your mother, wife, girlfriend, or what not (since you didn't elaborate on those details) however, no matter who is doing this to you, they don't deserve to be around you. You need to get away from this person and move on with your life because if you don't you will continue to be the subject of the abuse day after day.
Verbal abuse can sometimes be even more painful then physical abuse. Both types of abuse are painful and end up scarring you mentally rather then physically. And, many people who are verbally abused end up cutting and with disorders or depression.
You know that you need to get out, so stop sticking around and do just that, get out.

this may not be the answer your looking for but what about trying to get to see a therapist? Someone to talk to will make you feel better and make her see that she cant treat you like that because your going to do something about it... and if that doesn't change anything then get out - i put up with a verbally abusive man for eight years and finally got the nerve to ask him to leave last November... it's been a horrible year (everything has broken and he's fighting the divorce) but i can honestly say i feel like myself again and am soooooo happy i made this choice...

If what you say is true, then you have a natural tendency to be attracted to the type of person that will CONTINUE to abuse you. Even somebody who normally wouldn't, your personality will unconsciously direct them to abuse you.
You are in desperate need of a lifestyle change. And not just superficial (move to different city, change job, etc.) I'm talking about an actual change in your outlook on life. If you cannot find it yourself, which most people can't, seek professional help.

I've been emotionally abused so I feel your pain. I suggest that you get help if you really want to work it out. If you've done all you can then go.
