Do you find yourself saying, "Serves your right, that was stupid." Or are you able to be compassionate? If you are compassionate, how do you do it?

i know it sounds mean but i do think that stupid ppl get what they deserve, way harsh i know, but thats just how i feel.

I get exasperated sometimes when being served at a restaurant or a fast food place, but I have to remember that there is a reason these people are working here. Those folksy armchair philosophers you see in the movies just doesn't happen much in every day life.
My Mom got after me once, she said, "Don't be so impatient with people who are not as smart as you." I took it to heart, my Mom is a wise gentle woman.
So, yes, I have compassion for people in general -- even those who ask provoking arrogant questions!

I am not in the habit of rubbing peoples noses in the gaffs that they commit. Even those who voted for GW in the last election. I do however have no compassion when it comes to morons. The alien in "The Day the Earth Stood Still" remarked that he had no tolerance for stupidity. Compassion is the ability to feel empathic and care for someone. It is "E" ticket to life.

I'm able to be compassionate to a certain extent. If they did something stupid then I say it's there fault.

at times i find it difficult to be compassionate. I suppose it depends on my day and that certain individiual. You have to realize that some people never get it! I try to be as patient as possible.
