My neice is 7 years old and an adorable girl. However, lately she has started running away when she gets into an argument w/ her parents. The first time she decided to ride her bike to the lake which is over 4 miles away from her home. The police and everyone was involved. The second time she was on her way to my house and was caught by her mom before she got too far.

She is not abused by any sense. She comes from a very loving home. Her sisters are 13 and 5 years old. She gets along with them very well also. We have no idea why she is doing this. She is not spoiled but not deprived of anything at the same time. Her parents dont ever hit her as they dont believe in that. All of us in the family love this girl and her sisters a lot and she knows it.

We are all at a loss as to what to do. We are looking for SERIOUS replys only please. This is not a laughing matter by any sense.

I like a boy that I barely know. sadly, he has a girlfriend. we have flirted, I'm ashamed to say, and I think he might like me.... i really want to get "over" this guy. i've said to myself that i'd stop liking him, but it's seriously not working at all. i'm basically always thinking about him. [i've never dated him] i talk to him all the time though, so it's not easy to just forget about him. he IM's me at least once a day....and if i block him he'll probably just message me on myspace or ask my friends where i've been. i know it might seem like he likes me just from THIS, but i know he does.

the basic question is HOW DO I GET OVER HIM.

p.s. i can't stop communication, he'd ask people why i stop talking to him...

Been married for 11 years, left with children for mental abuse.
no communication walk over you like you not there, disrespect for all the time ask him what wrong doesn/t answer you and treat you like he doesn't know you and living in the same house. put furniture in storage so you wont and anyone won't sit on it because he bought it. don't want wife to drive his car and now I moved he moves near me and . he don't was a divorce but just want to live single but be marriage. explain tis situation if you can.

2 nights ago, I got into a huge fight with my best female friend of 6 years. We were talking about physical appearances and she asked me "if i were single and we werent best friends, would you be attracted me?"
I told her "honestly? Sorry but no, you're not my type".
She then asked "not your type? well what's wrong with me, am i ugly?". I responded: "no of course not but my ideal girl is in between 5'3"-5'9", is petite, has a small butt, narrow hips, thin and long legs, small-medium bust, dark hair, and light eyes."
She immediately responded: "well you have bad taste. not that i'm the most gorgeous girl in the world or that i want you to be attracted to me but the girl you described is ugly. tough luck finding a girl with your shallow and picky attitude". She hasn't talked to me since but she got her boyfriend to insult me and a few of her friends to insult me.
now alot of my friends are being weird and agreeing with her saying i have bad taste. WTF???

to all the people who said i wouldn't make it with my boyfriend because of mixed feelings, i did. The only reason i can think of for the mixed feelings is because i just got out of a bad relationship and me and this guy kinda rushed it so i was confused but things are starting to work themselves out and i'm realizing more and more i deserve to be treated better than i was with my ex so to all the people that said this wouldn't work out because i had mixed feelings, you were wrong. my parents r divorced and today my dad called me about 545 and asked me if i wanted to go to an ice cream social with him and my step mom and i was supposed to call my bf at 7 but i couldnt cuz i would be at the ice cream thing so i called him when i was in the car with my dad saying that i couldnt call him tonite becuz id be gone...im 15 and me and my bf have been datin for about 11.5 months but he said he was looking forward talkin to me but he couldnt...i never see my dad becuz hes busy working with his business and he bearly knows anything about me...my bf said he was looking forward to talking to me and kinda sighed in that voice if u get what im saying...he made me feel really bad...i mean i do want to spend time with my dad but then again i dont becuz hes a jackass...wat should i have done??? gone or just stayed home to talk to my bf?

It's a scary thought spending forever with just 1 person so i was just wondering if any of you girls that were around my age (17) ever feel like you were scared but were pretty sure you loved your boyfriend at the time but think about the future way too much? that maybe i would have been there when he took his last breath. he was terminally ill, and he was in such pain one night that they doped him up pretty well and the next morning i woke up really early and i thought he was just sleeping in. but something felt different. like i felt emptier. and a thought ran through my mind "hm he's so quiet maybe he DIED" and it just didn't feel right thinking that but about an hour later my dad screamed that he was dead. and the coroner said that he had died early morning. and i keep thinking that maybe if i had gone in there when things started feeling not right, that maybe i could have told him i loved him before he died.
and now i am living with this extreme guilt and i don't know what to do because i can't see a counselor or anything. please help if you can and tell me what i can do to make the guilt go away.

There is a member of this site who is posting questions under the username 'sandstorm222'. from his questions i have a strong suspicion that his girlfriend is in a VERY bad situation (that is unless this guy is just f*cking around).

is there anything that can be done to help his girlfriend if indeed she is in serious trouble?
