If you were in a secure living arrangement but longed for better sex and intimacy what would you do? Would you stick around for the financial freedom and security or search for someone who could Love you the way you need to be loved? Were not married.

Why can't you have all three?

Seriously, money isn't everything. Without the intimacy in a relationship, money (financial well-being as you call it) won't give you somebody to relate to when you're feeling down. There's an old saying that "you can't take it with you." Would you rather look back on your life and say, "I've got a million bucks (or more) in the bank" or would you rather say, "I lived with and loved my best friend"? I know which one I would choose...I've already made my decision in my life.

I think financial success can enhance your ability to have sex with your favorite intimate person but it doesn't guarantee it. If I were in a relationship where money was the glue instead of love I would leave. The way I see it is that a person only gets one time around and why spend the time with someone you don't really care for? I can say this because I have always been independent and I never engaged in relationships based on financial influence. I am not saying that I wouldn't be influenced from the upscale living but at what price? I think it would be easier to be a sponge off of a good looking woman than one that was ugly. "Honey" I am going to quit my job and kiss your rear for the rest of my life, no I am sorry it isn't me.

I would want love. I was married to a man who gave me that financial security. It was good because did not have to worry how things got paid. I started longing for someone who was there to listen to me,made me feel like a woman should, and give me a hug even. I left him. I with a wonderful man. Even though money is very funny. I have love.

Dont understimate the financial side..but take some courses together on sex and intimacy, I believe they are available - ask any psychologist for referrals.....alternatively.... keep the moneyman..but get a lover on the side!

Thats a loaded question. You can't talk to each other. So I would go with the sex and intimacy. because when you fine that then you found someone you can talk to and be close to. That's important to me.

Love and intimacy for sure...Money...stuff...can be lost in the blink of an eye. Think of people like the victims of 9/11. They lost it all in a flash, how much does money mean to them now? Above all is love. Sex is pretty damn good too lol.

If you are OK with being a well-dressed hollow zombie - stay. Maybe counseling would help both of you to decide if the relationship can be strengthened. Answer these two questions for yourself: "Am I better off with my partner or without my partner?" and "Is it better for me to feel lonely, because I live alone, or is it better to feel lonely, while living with my partner?"

Intimacy and sex... The bills will get paid, sooner or later... But emotional intimacy and sex...? Wow...! What a gift THAT would be...!

Well we've been poor, we've never been lacking in sex and intimacy. Money's easier. I'd rather have the sex and intimacy. Money comes and goes.
