Basically my X Girlfriend Is Saying that i cant see my daughter anymore. All Because i wouldnt sign A power of atterney over to her mother. I Dont know what to do. please help.

Unfortunately this sounds like something your going to need a lawyer for. My heart goes out to you though because no one should be kept away from their kids. It really hurts only the kids speaking from a kid of divorce

As long as your name is on the birth certificate, you have parental rights to that child honey. Go and file an order to show cause for visitation. If there are no valid reasons why she is keeping the child from you, visitation will be awarded. You can file pro se (without an attorney). Simply download the forms from your state's website. Just do not sign anything she gives you until you have a visitation order in place.

File for visitation or partial custody in family court. You don't really even need a lawyer for that, but it's better to have one. Most woman would love to have the father's involved. What the heck is wrong with her? Good luck.. You do have rights as a father.

Unlawful actions. Did you sign the birth certificate of this child? If not go to family law court and take care of your business. If there is no Court order to keep you from this child the child is as much yours as hers. get your business straight. and please pay child support and every dollar you give this mother make sure it is in a postal money order, no matter how small are large. If you buy shoes use checks are money orders. cover your behind. you must have proof that you are doing something for you child. just your word is not proof. don't trust this mother. and don't be a dead beat dad. get ahead of her. Legal aide can help you if you don't have money.

Are you paying child support? If so, and you are not allowed to see your daughter, then your ex is probably in violation of the support judgement.
If you do not have a support judgement, or you are not paying child support, then you might just be s.o.l.
What is the p.o.a. for and how does that enter the picture?

Go to court and file papers on her. You have rights as a parent. Don't let her get away with that. It will harm your child not to have her father is her life.

All you need to do is go to the county courthouse file a petition and they appoint you someone from legal aid and you go from there!

Don't keep calling her to see your daughter. She is black mailing you and wants you to play her game. Stop calling her and take her to court.
