I am having a civil wedding in a country hotel in May. I would like to wear a long simple gown...and have a small tiara or tiny flowers in my hair. I am a young looking 52 slim dark skinned with shoulder length dark hair.I thought a pale yellow dress.? I woulld like a bridal car .Will I look silly at my age?

Why do women want equal rights when it is so clear that men are far more superior than they are and have atleast 3 times bigger brains. Why can't women just be quiet, cook, clean, and make babies?

My husband (2 months) has a daughter and we live an 1 1/2 hours away from her. We pick her up every other weekend. We've discussed at times would life be easier if we lived closer to her because her mother hates the fact that he moved so far away.

I am not comfortable with that because even though he broke up with his child's mother years ago, they still continued to have sexual relations because he said it was the only way he felt he could control things at the time and keep her from taking his daughter away from him.

He is upset that I would be nervous about him doing that again with her if we moved near her - that he thought I had more confidence in him than that. He even had sex with her like 5 weeks before dating me over a year and half ago. We started dating for a year and got married this past summer. As a woman, would you feel insecure or uncomfortable about living near the child's mother if your husband had on and off relations with her previously?

My dad has been recently diagnosed with STAGE 4 rectal cancer (Stage 4 means the original rectal cancer has spread to many other organs, and also to his bones). We will meet with an oncologist in a few days & will learn about what treatment/life expectancy, etc we can expect. My problem is that we have always been pretty close, despite the fact that he is a very difficult man to deal with. Now he seems in a rush every day to get whatever he can done. My problem is that I do have my own life, my own little family, and I did drop all and stay with him, going to every single medical appt. to take notes for almost 6 weeks already. Then I came home for a few days and now he is saying that he needs lots of help with various things, and implies that I should be there. PLEASE help me deal with this agressive type man whom I love to pieces. I want to be there for him as much as I can, but cannot ignore my own life, which even means no time to even pay bills, wash clothes...

so wake up to go to work and find him in the kitchen on the phone in which he quickly hangs up the phone,I asked who it wa and he said his mate and I said prove it and he ran off,so I chased him round the house for like half an hour trying to get the phone of him and finally succeed to find it was some woman called amanda,a work colleague .Thing is,is that he hasn`t been coming to bed until early hours for over a month now and all of a sudden showing a keen interest in walking the dogs,so he calims that she is just a friend but I say,well if she just a friend then she won`t mind phoning me now and confiming this,and she won`t mind talking to you when I am around,or at normal hours of the day and night. so he claims she just a friend and I claim he is full of crap and thanks for all replies,you just confirm what i already believed.He might of not done anything yet but he was thinking and planning on it ,especially as his work has two away days at a hotel. thankyou

i find that i am shutting myself away when it comes to socialsing and mixing with people i feel as if i dont want to be there and keep shutting my boyfriend out sometimes because of it

I'm 36 yrs old never been married. I met the most wonderful woman in my life. She is everything I could ask for and more. She's 35 yrs and has two kids. A boy age 7, and a girl age 9. I have only met her son but he's a great kid. Here is the problem. She is currently married. Still lives with her soon to be Ex husband. He knows its over between them they are working on the divorce. He does not know about me! I have fallen in love with her. We have only been seeing each other for 3 weeks but I know I love her. I have never felt like this before and I'm 36 years old. I know this is special. Heres the problem. Right now she just sees us as GOOD FRIENDS. I know she has a lot going on right now. I hope she fees something for me. I'm not sure if she feels like she could ever love me. I am ready for her and the kids to move in with me. I would love them and provide completely for them. I told her how I feel. How hard should I push for her to see I want to be a couple?

I wear a size 7 ring and I think that my boyfriend thinks that I wear a 7 1/2. If he gets this 7 1/2 ring for me, can I take it to the jewlers to be brought down to a 7? If so, is this expensive and how long does it take the jewlers to do this?
