...he takes all the attention away from talking about us and starts commenting on people around constantly, the worst thing is he only sees the negative: points out how fat the waitress is or tells me to look at that table and those people.

How can I make him understand that he needs to focus his energies on talking about us when we go out ...instead of looking at other people and judging them?

He doesn't understand that I don't want to waste my time talking and listening to negative stuff he sees around, he can be using this time we are together to talk about "pretty things" sweet things and say nice things about me instead.

I've always thought that having at least two kids is preferable to a single child. It seems there would be advantages to a child and growing up to have a brother or sister to grow up with and have to sometimes deal with. Aside from parental overhead (two more expensive to raise than one, more to supervise, etc etc) I'm curious to hear pros and cons / thoughts on this matter. I'd especially be interested to hear what people who have children think.

I'm 27. My current relationship (of a year and a half) is the first serious one for my girlfriend. She is responsible and typical for being a 24 yr old. Out in public she gets stuff done and acts her age, but the problem is in private. Last night she left a message on my parents answering machine (i am visiting them) using baby talk. I was super embarassed. On the phone it seems when we talk it is about nothing real-just her baby talking how she misses me and loves me. Before I thought it was just private bf/gf stuff-but recently she is crossing it over to public life. I feel like she is acting like a 14yr old who gets her first bf in HS. If I say anything she thinks I am mean and don't feel the same. It's a bit ridiculous and I'm tiring of it. I love that she cares so much but I have never dealt with this before and am not sure what I should do? Any advice? Is this something to break up over? Opinions please!

met sweet guy- year and a half ago. Became good friends quick. Talked almost everyday. Chilled, watched movies. Would see him bout 2x a week when i would hit the clubs. He really liked me and we talked but me & bf were going through problems, almost broke up. Felt like it.we coulnt be more than frie Fell out of touch 4 like 3 months. He finally decided to call,had no real reason as 2 y he hadnt called. He was real apologetic,hewanted to meet up again.Ran into each other @ a club about 2 weeks l8r, after not having seen him for about 4-5 months. We talked 4 a min and before saying goodbye he kissed me,on lips. Totally unexpected since he pretty much stated he's back w/ ex and we couldnt chill like we used to. Yet he wanted me to go home w/ him. We never, NEVER did the deed, but were affectionate. I don't know what went wrong. We actually chilled 1x after seing him @ club and talked 1x after that and he disappeared, again.What went wrong?? he was laid back, im a lil outgoing

One night we were set to hang out at a bar, and she knew that, and she was going to hang out with her friends that night anyways, then at the very last second she just shows at his house and just HAD to watch a movie that night. Cancelled her other plans, doesn't seem to care at all what other people already have going on. Normally I have no problem whatsoever with the gf's of my friends, but she is so needy and keeps pulling this stuff over and over. I think I'm gonna have to stop pretending I like her, even in front of my friend.

All my life i've been trying to get a best friend who can understand me, with whom I can share my feeling, my sorrows, happiness. Someone who can be by side when I need her. A real friend who won't be jealous of me when I make progress. Someone who doesn't look at my husband with dirty thoughts in mind. Does anyone really exist like I want. My wife and I are planning to have our first baby. It was a decision we made TOGETHER.

The women at my work were talking. This one lady said she got pregnant on purpose behind her husband's back.

They got married and the husband wanted to wait, and the wife felt she was getting too old (33) and decide to have one anyways.

She said she told him she was on birth control and planned it so she conceived using an ovulation kit.

She said she was pregnant after being married for 3 months and said, "Oh well, he got over it!"

What is wrong with women like this??!!!

Just because you are married doesn't mean you can plan a pregnancy without talking to your husband first!

Yeah your husband will love your child, but don't you think he will love the child more if he helped planned the baby?

Thank God I have a honest wife!

This girl that I just became friends with has started IMing with me a lot. I am getting married and don't like my future husband's exwife or her girlfriend. She has asked that they be invited to the wedding and I don't really want her there. She would just cause a seen with her girlfriend like she does at every event that we are both at. They have 2 small children together and both kids will be in the wedding along with my children. My ex is not coming out of respect for the future husband. The future and I can not seem to agree weither to invite her or not. Any advice?

i am seeing this man who has more baggage than i own in purses. none the less i like him because he has a car (i really had to think about why i like him) but he is always trying to make me say please or beg him to give me a ride somewhere but he comes to my house, eats whatever he wants out of my refrigerator, leaves hsi dishes and clothes lying around, takes a nap and then leaves before he needs to be in the club before the admission fees goes up. He has been doing this to me for almost two months and i have tried to be patient and even expalin to him why this is making me so annoyed but it's like to talking to a brick wall, he just does not get it. at this point i am ready to server any friendship ties with him and walk away from the whole thing but i just need some advice or different perspectives thanks
