One of my employees has this writing on her desk: "Acuerdate que es mas importante tener dinero que matar al jefe. Debo evitar la tentacion de poner veneno a su cafe"
I think he last word means coffee. She says is a chinese proverb. I am thinking of having it printed nicely and framed in a 5 X7 for her birthday. Could someone translate this for me?

I'm laughing hysterically! And it's Spanish, not Chinese... but it does say, "It is more important to have money than to kill the boss. I must avoid the temptation to poison his coffee."

I really hope you're not her boss and, if you are, that she doesn't bring you coffee in the morning! Also, if you are her boss, I hope you have a really good sense of humor!

It means "Remember that it is much more important to have money than to kill your boss. I have to avoid the temptation of putting poison in his coffee".
Doesn't sound so good. You could frame it and give her the saying in english. That would make you feel better:)

this is a spanish-language saying she has on her desk; it translates as follows: remember that it's more important to have money than to kill the boss. i must resist the temtation to put poison in his coffee. i think it's a humorous take on working---i hope!--- so find something else to frame.
