One night we were set to hang out at a bar, and she knew that, and she was going to hang out with her friends that night anyways, then at the very last second she just shows at his house and just HAD to watch a movie that night. Cancelled her other plans, doesn't seem to care at all what other people already have going on. Normally I have no problem whatsoever with the gf's of my friends, but she is so needy and keeps pulling this stuff over and over. I think I'm gonna have to stop pretending I like her, even in front of my friend.

BTW, she gets on other people's nerves too, it is not just me.

Lot of people are telling me "don't be needy yourself" or "sounds like you just want more time with your friend". I can understand how y'all might get that impression, but that isn't the situation at all. He could hang out with her everynight of the week and that's his life of course. But when plans have ALREADY been made, and everybody knows what is going on, a person shouldn't wreck them at the last minute... repeatedly. It is the WAY she went about it that is aggravating. Maybe she just doesn't know any better.

That's pretty inconsiderate of her. If what she did the night you and your friend were supposed to go out was an isolated incident, I'd say maybe she was just having a crappy day or something and needed a little attention. But if she does that kind of thing all the time, your friend needs to watch out because he could wind up losing all of his friends when they get tired of being sold out for his girlfriend.

By pretending to like this girl, you're doing yourself and your friend a disservice. You should never be fake for anyone. You don't have to be rude to her but you don't have to be buddy buddy either.
Ok, with that said... be prepared for some possible backlash from your friend. If he's truly a good friend, he'll ask you what's up and you can be honest with him about how you feel about this girl. If he's not, then he'll probably get all sorts of bent about your attitude about her. Just be honest and let him know that you really do want what's best for him but you have a hard time with this girl because....
Good luck!

No because her bf isn't prepared to be pleasant and positioned your self in his shoes. What if she were unmarried and needed you to be pals with a female friend? She in basic terms needs to play video games so tell her to stop calling because you respect her relationship and opt to stay out of their drama! no longer some thing incorrect collectively with her boyfriend is she met after the split because that's not his fault! i do not have my exes spectacular out with my husband nor their women folk spectacular out both. In a public position we are all well mannered, yet no spectacular out. diverse in case you had childrens, yet except that it truly isn't any!

get out of his life so much and get a little more of your life and it wont bother you so much. sure you care about your friend and i read your point however, it is his life and you have no control over it so get over it. most likely it wont last and your buddy will be all yours again. you sound a bit needy yourself. try to do new stuff with just yourself. this will take the focus offf of your buddys life and possibly save your friendship.

You have a good reason not to like her. I think if you don't like her you should just avoid her and only hang out with your friend when she's not around. My best friend any my boyfriend don't get along very well, so I just respect their opinions about eachother and only hang out with them at seperate times. Talk to your friend about it and tell him its nothing personal but you would rather not be around him when he's with her. If he's a good friend, he will understand.

Well ... if he's your best friend you have to be honest with him (or at least act honest) ... you don't have to be like "Dude , I really hate your girlfriend" ... you don't even have to tell him ... just stop pretending to like her, and hopefully he'll get the picture ... he might be a little angry at first , but eventually he'll probably see how annoying and clingy she is and let her go ... good luck !!

You know this is your friends girlfriend, if he does not have a problem with it, them I guess it is your problem, have you mention the situation to your friend? Tell him I am having a hard time trying to be nice to her, she just does not think about no one but herself, I just don"t want to be around her any more!!

If he is canceling on you it's because he wants to. He's a big boy and makes his own decisions. She's the girlfriend. Maybe he actually prefers her feminine appearance to yours.
