I spent 4 yrs getting to know myself after my last breakup, before I met my b/f.. When I met him, the last thing that I was looking for was a relationship, but we all know how the story goes.. :) Those feelings tend to sneak up on you.. But now that I know "me" better, I don't worry about what might happen in the future, because I know that I do not need him to make me happy...but its nice to have him by my side for now... Do you really think that you have to know that a relationship is going to last forever to be happy in it??

I'm not asking this question for myself. My son is way beyond the age for that sort of thing. I'm asking because two cooworkers were having an arguement about it. I told them, there is no age, there just comes a time when you stop (usually by age 3 or 4), it's not like a concious decision where you say "o.k you're 4 years old, you're not taking a shower with me". What do you think, what has been your experience?

My husbands sister, is a total b****. She's constantly treating me rudely, and leaving me out. I didn't understand what this dislike was caused from until a mutual friend told me that she thought her brother had been happier with a girl he dated in High School.11 years ago! We have one child and one on the way. After her last episode of being rude to both me and my husband I am feeling like I do not want to be around her. PERIOD. The most hurtful part is I see that she is begining to turn my other sister in law against me (who married into the family) Who I thought was really close to me and a sweetheart but when she is around my husbands sister her attitude totally changes. My husband and I have been married for 7 years now and I am expecting again now. I am at the point where I want to avoid all family stuff. How do I handle this?

He tells me no, or i don't know. But then when his friend (thats a guy) asks him to go do something he'll jump right up and go. and everytime my boyfriend asks me if I want to go somewhere I always say sure.. but then his friend is with us also.. All he ever wants to do anymore is spend time with his friend and online playin poker. I have tried to talk to him about it and all I get is.. oh stop. I know he's not cheatin on me and I know he never will. I have been with him for 2 years and it feels like he just want to be with me anymore.. idk what to do..

My soon to be ex husband left me about 2 years ago (which I am totally ok with now and in a new great relationship) just had to add that in lol, and left me with very little. We have child and he is a good dad, we do have a civil relationship now.My problem is, when he left all the bills were in his name, I changed most of them over, except for one which requires a big deposit if I want to change it to my name. He keeps bugging me all the time about getting it switched to my name, but I tell him I dont have the money right now. And he gets me upset everytime he calls me about it. Its not like I dont pay the bill and he is getting bad credit. I always pay it! Do you think that im wrong for putting my other bills and priorities first, or do you think he is right about pestering me about it.

Am I the only person in this world that feels like they are alone. I feel like I am in a movie sometimes. Sort of feels like you are in a haze, just watching the people go by. Do people care about others ?

I don't believe that at all.... I mean for real, how can this be true? Well I understand that when you're in love (even if you're the only one in love) that is it beautiful, and wonderful and all the Sh!t, but I don't think that is better then never being in love! You can't miss what you never had. So how can that that quote be true. If i had never been in love, i wouldn't know what i was missing, but after i have been in love then i gonna long for that feeling again and i'll feel hurt and heartbroken that it is gone. So what i am tryin to say is, isn't it better to have never been in love, then be in love and lost it? B/C if you had never had experenced love then you can't miss it, but if you had experienced it you'll be reminded of that pain everyday!!!

Me and my sons father get into it all the time about his mother. She has other grandkids that she is always doing stuff for and she says the only reason she don't do for my son is because he doesn't need for anything. Thats not fair...or am I being petty. I feel like if you do for one you do for all. My son will be 1 on 9/11 and she has bought him 3 outfits and thats it in his whole life. She has never kept him either. The funny thing is my mom lives in MI and I live in FL (where the other grandma lives) and my mother sends a care package for my son (toys & clothes) at least once a month and my son has gone to stay at my moms house twice without me.!!!! The other grandma sucks as a grandma.

20+years ago, when I was just 14, I accidently impregnated a girl while losing my virginity to her. Being from a Dysfunctional family, with the capitol "D" I was forced by my parents to part ways, and I have never seen the child I helped bring in to this messed up world. I have since been diagnosed with a brain tumor that I inherited geneticly, which I am told my present children, and their children(if they have any in the future) must be tested for, and treated to prevent the horrible problems I have been living with for the last decade of my life. My thoughts have been on the child I have never seen. Though I know how to reach her mother, and want to tell her to test the child I have never known, I fear telling my wife of 17 years about this child that I have never mentioned to her, and what repercussions it would have. I know my son, and daughter would love the thought of having an older sister, but I worry about what message it would send my not quite adolecent son. Help?
