There is no one answer to this question..I beleive girls cheat because they lack something in the relationships and need someone who is there for them and will listen. Men cheat because of many reasons..they may not be happy, they are missing something in there current relationships..Everyone cheats for differect reasons..
I personally cheated because the one I was with made me miserable and I needed someone to make me feel special...he cheated because he was unhappy at home but could not leave for different reasons.. I dont regret it and we are still close to this day. In my case it was not about sex it was a feeling of being needed by someone. Felling special we were close frineds and after spending so much time talking and being there for one another it happened.

we really don't know but I can tell you that sometimes the guys cheat because is common in their live to do it. That doesn't mean that they don't love you. It is like a bad habit. They will say that they care, probably from their lips you will never heard "I love you" because they can't love anybody. They don't even love themselves. They told you that they were working and they are with another woman, they tell you that probably he felt sleep and never heard the phone when you called at 11pm and never was on the place. There are so many ways for them. The only I can tell you girls is don't get crazy, don't get involve with anybody that have some misterious behaviors as not liying but keeping things in a hide.

I don't have an answer just a comment, I wish I new the answer. My mom has been married 5 times and my dad 5 times. They both have cheated in each marriage. I grew up knowing my mom or dad was married but they always had a "date". This was very confusing. I have been married for 20 years, and thank god I have a man who is very understanding. If he wants to go out with his buddies, he always asks me first and if I am not comfortable, then he stays home with me. We have three beautiful children who have been raised in church. I have had a real insecure life because of what my parents did. But God sent me a wonderful man who has showed me that is not the way. By the way, both my sisters have been married 3 times and all ended in divorce because of cheating and my brother has never married and he is 34. He says it doesn't interest him. He dates, but that is all. Very sad. Oh one more thing, none of us have the same dad. Actually my brother, we don't know who his dad is.

Relationships get stale...sad fact of life but true..probably & truthfully none of us want that to happen...but by the time it does we have been married a long time and dont want to lose our partner permanently but the excitement of an affair becomes an overwhelming attraction...sex with someone else who really wants sex as well...most guys ( and ladies if they are honest) who find themselves in this position cant help it...hormones go wild and you take the chance...if you get away with out being found out then it seems a lot easier next time...This is from a guy who is married and has had affairs...i love my wife but she doesnt want sex so when i meet a lady who is in the same (but opposite) position the affair happens. I would not want to hurt my wife but those few moments of excitement and sheer ecstacy make it worthwhile...people may say you should try harder with your wife but it just doesnt happen and only an affair can provide that level of excitement

Love isn't supposed to hurt. Real love makes us better,makes us shine. When someone cheats, its rarely for the reason of sex.I know how hard it is to forgive infidelity. I am going through the same thing. You have to decide, does this person make me a better me? Or thinking back do they just hurt.

people cheat for so many reasons it could be because one of the partners is not sexually satified,it could also be because the marriage was not bassed on true love or for lack of respect for the institution of marriage or even lack of finance,but the truth of the matter is that the men folk are the most unfaithfull partners cos they believe they are polygamous in nature which is untrue and is not a genuin excuse for being unfaithfull.

people cheat because have no real feelings for the person that they are with.they are only sorry when they get caught but hey once a cheat always a cheat .

because they love do you but they r missing things that your not giving them. they do feel guilty but need this something else and think they can get it elsewhere and afterwards realise that they dont like it. they really want it from you but if your not giving it to them they miss it again. be honest and ask your partner what they r missing. it might hurt your feelings but at least u will know
