If you trust him & think its safe then go right ahead. I would leave any information you have on him with someone at home though. Let them know where you're going, when you're coming back & when you'll check in with them. Ask him to send you a copy of his driver's license. I know it doesn't sound very romantic but better safe then sorry.

why not have the guy meet you instead !! if you do go to see him !! make sure you are in a public place, surrounded by lots of people.personally I would NEVER do this !! you don't know who this guy is. be careful !!

My current gf did..jumped on a plane and came to another country. That got me coming to her and we trade the trips back and forth. Worked out good for her...
