My soon to be ex husband left me about 2 years ago (which I am totally ok with now and in a new great relationship) just had to add that in lol, and left me with very little. We have child and he is a good dad, we do have a civil relationship now.My problem is, when he left all the bills were in his name, I changed most of them over, except for one which requires a big deposit if I want to change it to my name. He keeps bugging me all the time about getting it switched to my name, but I tell him I dont have the money right now. And he gets me upset everytime he calls me about it. Its not like I dont pay the bill and he is getting bad credit. I always pay it! Do you think that im wrong for putting my other bills and priorities first, or do you think he is right about pestering me about it.

Since he left you with so little I would suggest that he pay the deposit. Hell, you're having to do it because he left so therefor it should be his responsiblity. In most cases the person who does the inconveniencing should do there best to make things right and accomodate the other party.

It would depend on his situation. Having an outstanding bill in his name (Even though you're paying it) could be causing a problem for him. (Possibly obtaining a loan or other such nonsense)

After this length of time he probably doesn't feel like he needs to have responsibility for this bill anymore.

Or, he could just be trying to be a jerk. Either way, 2 years is plenty of time for you to have taken over all the bills and have had the names changed on them.

money is always a problem, see why you have to pay that bill, if you need it, keep paying, if not, get rid of it. Of course if it is the house, well , you have a new boyfriend, so move into his place and sell the house

I think that you should make it a priority to get this bill switched over and to get this man out of your life as much as possible.
