A friend of mine had her ex tell her via instant messaging that he wanted a divorce. How did your ex tell you, or how did you tell him?

I dated my husband for 3 years and nine months and it was a joyous time, my realtive is getting married later in life in age and she is so thrilled and in love and so is he.

But now I am married almost 13 years and it is commonplace, we agrue, I get irritated at him he gets irrated at me, it seems like even though we have a good marraige it is not a honeymoon anymore we have been married a long time.

Sometimes the intamcay love etc "wears off" but we do have a very strong friendship. How does one keep the devotion going?

So what is "magic" for you?

We have recently moved to Liverpool and I fear that there wont be enough robber suits to go round, do you think a more fitting tribute to the area would be a something to do with Brookside. He used to love that show.

if you men have a tendency to not stick with someone and run off with a new chick sooner or later, why do you bother convincing her to be with you in the first place?

I'm a few years away from 30, and have been dating this guy a few months........I know he's the one. Okay, to be fair, I should tell you that I realize that I may sound silly, and that a relationship takes time to develop, but I just wish he'd ask me now, and then we could be engaged for about 8 months and then married! Is this possible?

I have alot of family issues and would probably rather have our wedding away somewhere (plus my fiance doesn't want to stand in front of everyone), but weddings are so expensive to have it away. I figured that if we had it here, even with the reception, it would be at the most $3000.00. I'm trying to find somewhere to have the wedding that will only cost $2,500 - $3,000 to go away for a week. This would be just for us and a few friends (maybe 10 - 20). Do you know of anywhere to have a wedding away at that budget? Have you had one there or know of anyone who did? If so, how was it?

Which is better? To be more in love with your honey, or to have them more in love with you?

Also, which one is better to be stranded on a desert island with?

Ok so I was at my friends house and I was getting my pajamas and she saw my bra I really didn't care the next day at breakfast she whispered in my ear that the only reason I need a bra is because I was fatter than everyone else and at the moment I really didn't think much of it but when I was at home and remembered what she said it made me mad sad (etc.) Of course that was several years ago but after that and for the past several years she won't even look at me and shes avoiding me like the plague... I mean its not like I wanna be friends with her since she called me fat... but you wouldn't think that she would be mad at me for something she said and since she isn't talking to me neither is some of my other friends (and you'd think they'd be over it by now)

So I met somebody who seems like exactly the woman I've wanted to date and marry. Ironically, she's about 14 years too young (turning 21 next month). Even though we didn't date per se, we spent a lot of time together and we connected. She was only here for the summer on an internship, and now she's back at her college, 3000 miles away. I never thought it was possible to miss someone this badly.

So what's the best thing to do here? Do you think I should pursue a long distance relationship, being open with the fact that my feelings for her go beyond freindship? Or just stay friends by phone and email, hoping she takes the job she's been offered that will bring her back to the same company next year? Or just say no to the feelings because of the complications, and let the distance separate us?

We have not sent our invitations to our October '06 wedding (it's a quickie!). Would it be tacky to have the response cards say to email or phone a response rather than mail it? (as there isn't enough time for mailing back the cards anyway). And how would I word that in an elegant way? Thanks for any help!

Basically what happened is this; neighbours made false complaints, (noise, explosives, etc.) after finding out that their neighbour (my boyfriend) was gay. The management, has to accept these complaints, and act upon them accordingly. Their resolution, was to kick out my boyfriend's mom and him. Now, my boyfriend's mom, made an agreement, that if she kicks out her 16 year old son, she can stay, however, she is doing nothing to help her son. Infact, she is harming him, by burning the only helpful connections he has (ie. his father, and other relatives) by saying things like he hits her and stuff, because she is mad at him, not only for being gay, but for getting her kicked out. Do you think that this is acceptable? Should a mother not try to help their child, and possibly make a sacrifice?

I'm a 17 year old female. Going to be 18 on August 30. I'm full puerto rican from Harlem NY. I'm looking for my soulmate. Someone who's going to love me on my sexy days, my sick days, and my wake up in the morning looks. Someone who can take care of his self and can hold a conversation and listen to me and give me advice. Someone who likes to go out from time to time or just stay home and watch a movie or play playstation 2. Someone who likes to play fight in a sexy fun way. Someone who will be my clyde and I'll be there bonnie. Someone who doesn't really smoke weed and drink excessively. Someone who will just love me and ready to settle down and be serious. If you think your this person then hit me back.
