A friend of mine had her ex tell her via instant messaging that he wanted a divorce. How did your ex tell you, or how did you tell him?

I delivered all his stuff to his parents house and left it on the front yard. He got the picture.

I told him to meet me at a restaurant and then i told him he need to get his stuff and go cause we could not stay together as husband and wife without being unhappy he could be friends for the kids and nothing else will work but to get a divorced.

I told him over the phone. I said : "I'm not happy, I know that you are not happy either and life is too short to be miserable. After careful consideration I have decided that I want a divorce"

After he saw me kissing another man, he still wanted to stay with me but I did it because I was unhappy and wanted him to see how much he had hurt me.We had been married only a year but only had sex 4 times. He wouldn't communicate with me and he was broke and borrowing money behind my back from OUR PARENTS. I left 1 week later. I told him I was going to my moms for awhile and then called him after I filed.

He came home one night, and said out of the blue: "you're not gonna like what I'm about to tell you... I want a divorce".
I didn't like it at first... But now I thank him!

I told him I had seen an attorney and that I wanted a seperation, ended up divorcing instead because he wouldn't agreet to the seperation.

I told him by writing a letter to explain my reasons, which he still to this day doesn't understand 'why' and then we argued until I left a month later when I got the money to leave.

i dont really remember ho wi told him. i think i just told him straigh tout. he didnt believe me. even after i served him divorce papers. he wa in big denial. BUT via email, wow, what has the world become!!
