It's a competition with other men. It's a way to measure manhood. It's a mental thing. The bigger the penis, the bigger a guy feels. I agree with you that it is not as important to women as guys think it is.

There is an old saying-It's not the size of the wand but the magic in it. Not all men are fixated with this however there are some women that are and perhaps this is one reason some men are.We all want to please our partners and this is a touchy subject for some people. Both Men and Women are affected by mental, emotional and physical things in our lives and this size thing in some men can really have an effect on these men in there ability to get and maintain an erection.Some women are fixated on their breast size,if a man told you that you have small breasts it might place this most important thing on you as well as men with penis size fixation, its called SELF DOUBT.

That is SO NOT TRUE... Sorry.. but I have been with small men... who were "experienced" and could NOT satisfy me in the least. Size does matter, ya gotta have at least 4 inches... I mean thats the minimal. Men are fixated on that because they were raised to be. Their fathers, and their fathers fathers have been fixated on it... so it continues on and on...

Because men see their penis as a reflection of their manhood. Also men watch porn and too often think that the men in the films should reflect what they should be. A man will always feel better about himself with 7-9 inches. Just a sad fact I guess.

A lot of women expend awful amounts of money and put life in danger for a surgery. So, who is more fixated?

For many men it has something to do with an external locus of control.
When I first started having sex, I was bad at it. I immediately started blaming my penis size (not small at all). I blamed my member, so I could believe that the matter was out of my control. REally, I just needed to practice, and not try and finish so fast.

I dont know...i am a guy and i really do not worry about it at all...
I believe it is because... SOME women actually make it out to be a bigger deal than it really is....a lot of women on here tend to exaggerate on the size that they "need" in order to be pleased...all i have to say to them is that if you are so loose you need a guy to be as long as a telephone pole...then i think the problem may actually be with you...not the dude...he may not be small to most women...it can be hard to fill the grand canyon with just one bucket of water...dont ya think?

Any chick you says 'size does not matter' is lying. Size does matter. How can any woman be satisfied with a 3 inch penis. I know my wife is very pround of my 7 inch pole.
