This guy from my romantic past resurfaced after 15 years. (We ran into each other at a store). For the past month we have been corresponding through e-mail and occassional phone calls. During our e-mail he compliments me on how fine I still look, and how he remembers what I was wearing the first night we met, etc... but he does not initiate our contact to go any further. As far as I know he is single again and he knows I am. Our past romance ended on amicable terms. I want to start dating him again, but I do not want to be the one doing the chasing.
I know his life has changed alot and right now he is looking for a new job. I just want to spend time with him, but I don't want to appear desperate. I told him my birthday is coming up next month and so far he has not asked me of my plans.
If he does not want to hook back up with me, I wonder why he is constantly flirting with me and bringing up old times. He certainly isn't the shy type either. Do you think I am wasting my time?

I have this serious problem to talk abt ...there is this guy who is a genuine friend and he loves me named A but I love him as a friend he is sort of everything to me...(I have a family who does not support me) I don't have any such feelings for him...but I love this guy B who says he loves me but I he is not true we are not compatible he wants to dominate me always..and he says it that and even blames me for this and that...and he is damn clever..he never speaks his mind and he is too shrewd he can make anybody dance to his tunes..he speaks very well and he can fool anybody by his talking and he lies so beautifully he is basically a liar...he is not true to me but have made everything so that even if he is not I cannot accuse him of that..but all this which I can see feel and understand but have no clue to accue him off just because he is so shrewd has sort of handicapped me in everyway possible...he wills to marry me and we r marrying next week..whatever may be the reason I LOVE HIM

Nine years and Two kids..... He left me for a rumor that went around town while I was on vacation..Rumor was: I went on vacation to meet another man... Came back he left me... I let it go for what it was, thought after a couple of days he would get over it... Come to see he replaced me while I was gone and instead of being honest with me about the OTHER woman, he made up some story to make it seem as if it was my fault... When I found out about her, I let it be... Now that she left him !!! he wont leave me alone... Do I work it out or let'em go???? It almost seems as working it out HURTS more..........

I have been with my boyfriend for a year. We are in love but the only thing is I'm a big flirt. One night I went to a party and was freak dancing with other boys. Would you consider this cheating?

I have a 11 year old, who is smart and good in academics. off late Iam noticing that he wants more fun . He argues a lot If I ask him to do something he is not interested at that moment. His teachers say that he is a good student....its just that he is more playful and mishievous because of his age although some of the teachers feel that he need to be controlled a bit so that this trend does not continue into highschool. Iam worried about the future...Please advice...how should I handle this?

I had this friend that I met my junior year in high school, and instantly we hit it off always out at the mall, movies, parties and etc. And when we met she had a boyfriend and I didn't so she was always trying to fix me up with somebody and everytime she'd find somebody I would instantly find something wrong with them and say" no." So close to the end of our senior year she told me about this friend of her brother, I was curious so I said "well let me meet him and go from there." About a week after prom, I was at her house when the guy she told me about brought her brother home, and so we met and I liked him right off. So we start talking on the phone, and eventually hooked-up. The next thing I know we graduate, start college, and then she breaks up with her boyfriend, and when I come to see my boyfriend when I get out of class, there she is. She tried to play it off real cool in the beginning, but I caught up to what she was doing. Tell me how to handle the outcome of her betrayal.

I went out with this guy last night and he had a great time (so he said today) I thought he was a bit of a loser. How do I nicely tell him I don't want to date him again?

I've been going out with a new and very lovely (younger) man for 7 months now. I used to be married and went through a very traumatic separation 2 years ago, but when I was first with my husband I knew right away that we should spend our lives together; everything (in the beginning) was easier when we were together.

Now with the new man, I still enjoy going home to my own flat some nights and I really don't feel that I want to move in together or take things to the next level. He has started hinting that he might be interested in doing that at some stage..... Do I stay in the relationship because its fun even if at this point I don't know if I want to be in it for the long run, or do I break it off before it gets too serious?

my fiancee and i have been living together for 5 years, he enjoys having a relationship where we do absolutely nothing and have days and years go by with us having nothing to show for it, I on the other hand like to do things. I don't even mean big things, even little things like going to the beach together, just spending time together...he sees no point in it, if I ask him to go the beach and go for a walk, he says why? He always needs an explanation, he doesn't get that I want to spend time with him. He's so selfish like that. He's 15 years older than me but I don't think that should make a difference because in my opinion, if you are in love with somebody then spending time with them shouldn't be a major effort. I know where this is all going, the thing is I love him so it is hard to try and face the truth and so I'm hoping that maybe one day he'll actually want to show me that he likes being with me. He makes me feel lonely...my problem..that's what he'll say.

I've always felt bad about myself, inside and out (mostly out). I guess this is a fairly common question, but I don't know if there's anything out there that will help me. I saw something about writing, "I'm beautiful." on a post-it note and saying it to yourself and believing in it, but it's embarassing in my opinion because I KNOW it isn't true.

I don't think I have the slightest bit of self confidence, and I'd like to change, but I feel it's impossible... Thoughts and suggestions are welcome. :)
