I have been with my boyfriend for a year. We are in love but the only thing is I'm a big flirt. One night I went to a party and was freak dancing with other boys. Would you consider this cheating?

I've been in a relationship with the same girl for 9 years and she sounds the same as you.NO! i wouldn't call this cheating at all,the best way to look at it is to put your self in your boyfriends place and think what would you feel like if it was him doing the freak dancing

That all depends on you and your bf. What do the two of you consider cheating? You and your bf should sit down and discuss what is considered crossing the line and what isn't. If he doesn't consider freak dancing cheating, then dance on my friend!
I personally wouldn't consider that cheating, as long as it's dancing and nothing more.

I wouldn't consider that cheating but I think you should show your boyfriend a little more respect. No more freak dancing for you young lady.

i'm a flirt to, and i kindof have the same problem.
but when me and my boyfriend decided to stay together, i told him i was worried about being ablt to have fun (i guess because my last boyfriend was a little controling). he flat out told me that he still wants me to go out, drink, dance, and have fun and that he would never stop me from doing that.
if your boyfriend is okay with the idea of you going out and dancing (granted he doesn't have the right to tell you 'no' but that's another topic completely) you should be able to go out and dance. from there on its YOUR responsibility to not go too far. the way people dance...i mean, its definitely no g-rated anymore, but its how people dance. just keep it at a level where you don't feel like you're going againt anything your boyfriend would be comfortable with. imagine what you would be comfortable seeing your boyfriend do on the dance floor.
anyway, i agree with what someone said before...if you have to ask, and you feel guilty, you're doing something wrong. its about your intentions...if you need a dace partner, that's one thing, but if you're looking to grind against another guy, that's another

No, it's not necessarily considered as cheating, but it is unacceptable behavior for someone in a year long relationship. I am not being mean-- I just think you should tone it down a bit or you may end up losing your boyfriend. If you two are truly in love it will be worth it in the long run. :)

No not at all. As long as your boyfriend isnt mad, then its not a big deal. If hes mad, then he is more prone to jealousy, and you should take into consideration his feelings. But also think... would u be upset if he was dirty dancing with a girl? If so, then realize that your cute flirting is a bad thing. Good luck

It is not cheating in the physical sense but in the emotional sense it is. If you are in a relationship with someone then that person should be the one you do those things to not other men.

I suppose on how you dance. If u rub yourself to the other guy, and i dont know if thats cheating or not but i dump you.
If you just dance, i suppose its ok, but, why dont you dance with your bf?
Besides, dancing with another guy is like giving him signals for other things, depending on how you dance, so it can be trouble.

did you have feelings for one of the guys you were dancing with? If not, you are in the clear. If you just wanted some, then you should tell your boyfriend about your feelings and deal with it through your relationship.
