Yes you would be charged, anywhere from 5 cents per text to 30 cents per text. Call your cingular dealer. I was in the cell phone business for over 7 years, and just recently left. Good luck

Your best bet is to drop Cingular altogether and with T-Mobile. T-Mobile is the best. Cingular is a company known best for ripping people off.

Your texting is not free. I believe on my plan it is about 10 cents per text. They do have add on options for texting. The lowest is $4.99 for 200 texts per month. If you have more than one phone on your plan that is the price per phone. They have more expensive options as well if you text more.

Yes you will still be charged for both incoming and outgoing messages. I think it is .10 per message for reg. text and .25 for picture messages

yes i depends on what kind of plan u have i am on family talk and get a certain amount of text per month oh and why dont u just call them it free:)

after 9 they still charge ,but 10 cents incoming,and out/that the way mine worked.
