Nine years and Two kids..... He left me for a rumor that went around town while I was on vacation..Rumor was: I went on vacation to meet another man... Came back he left me... I let it go for what it was, thought after a couple of days he would get over it... Come to see he replaced me while I was gone and instead of being honest with me about the OTHER woman, he made up some story to make it seem as if it was my fault... When I found out about her, I let it be... Now that she left him !!! he wont leave me alone... Do I work it out or let'em go???? It almost seems as working it out HURTS more..........

Not to mention he proposed to me on Mothers Day and then asked for his ring back!!!!!!!

It's not worth keeping a relationship that makes you suffer..
Dont be a martyr, girl. Start new with your life.. You ahve yourself to deal with and thats enough.. you dont wanna complicate things, do you?

Well after doing this for a as long as I have it seems like there is so much more to this than your willing to disclose. First and most important is the kids, you and your spouse can screw it all up for yourselves but climb out of your selfishness and put it where it should go, to them. Then you should sit down and be honest with yourself and evaluate your value system and regroup. If you made a bad decision then yes, forgive yourself, forget the mistake only after you etch it into your brain not to repeat it and do the right thing, apologize if needed, mean it, move on!
