I am very hurt and confused by her choice to end our friendship to start a relationship with him, when she knew first hand how much he cheated on me and was just awful to me, and left me and my son, with no child support, nothing...for a bimbo he met at a bar. Is there someone in your family who you feel always competes with you and has to be "number one" and in the limelight all the time? I have a SIL who is like that, and a bit of a flusey, drinks a lot etc...she really has a heart of gold but there are times she says things that really pisses me off too...she's always watching me and listening to what I say when I talk to people and just always wants that I listen to her stories...even though they are silly and we've all heard them over and over...but if it wasn't for all her rantings, there really wouldn't be much for all the family to talk about...they're not the type to do anything but makes jokes all the time. What do you think? Any quirky relatives in your famlies too?

Hello!

I am having my wedding dress altered by a proffessional seamstress and just found out that her husband smokes! It's too late to take my dress out of her house, but I will get it back two weeks before the wedding.

How can I remove the smoke smell that might linger in the dress? I wash it (it will only be steamed), but is there a way I can get rid of the smell completely! Please help!!!

Right, seriousness now. Lately, I find that with the crowd I hang out with there are only a few that are actually 'girly'. In general a lot seem to be in the middle some where. But there are quite a few i see around acting more like blokes than chicks. By blokes, i mean, being a bit laddy, getting drunk on beer, having fights in the street, hanging out like gangs, going pulling together, acting masculine in general... Now I'm not saying that this is totally a bad thing, but I can't see myself getting with a 'dude with boobs'. What does everyone else think? Is it a good or a bad thing?

(Not helping if you put, 'each to their own' answers.)

I know for sure she received the invitation, and she did not even bother to rsvp. My husband tried to call, to make sure she was okay, and she did not answer the phone and has not replied to the voice mail message. The party was a month ago, and we have had no contact with her at all. She did attend her grandson's ninth birthday party the evening before, we saw her there and again she did not give any indication that she would not be able to attend my son's grad party. He is hurt and so am I.

I loaned a friend some money, it has been 6 weeks. She mentioned it once!, and now she just left town for business, went to Reno, and invited her boyfriend. he never calls me, then when i text him at 2:00 at night he always has an excuse. Last night his excuse was , my phone died. Then why is it everytime im with him , his phone is perfectly fine , he gets a bunch of phone calls , never dies when im around. He uses the excuse, I didnt feel well i feel asleep, or my phone was turned off, my phone died, i was in a n area with no signal. When ever he hangs out with his cousins this doesnt happen.
So last night i flipped on him , i didnt talk to him only texts.
Why do some guys do this, or at least mine does?
He wants me to treat him better, and not call him names but then he does things like this to piss me off, and i tried talking to him about
