He works full-time and his job is very demanding. He works in consultancy. Anyway, he has planned his holiday with his best mate to visit one of their good friends in Asia. I am very happy for him as I have been to Asia myself and it's great to visit these Asian countries. However, what I can't help to be sad about that I want to ask him to spend more time together as we are in a long-distance relationship and I don't want to come across as needy and demanding? He took me to North Africa in April for a few days with his work, which was very nice but I still feel like he plans more of his free time with his friend than with me? We see each other once a month as our full-time jobs don't allow us to visit each other more often but I have got the feeling that I plan our meetings more than him and then when he tells me that he is going with his best friend on holidays, I feel unimportant. Am I wrong? How can I solve it with him without making him feel blamed?

How do you learn to trust again, when you've been burned TOO MANY times in the past. This may sound pathetic, but im stable, self employed, and have a great career, that involves traveling, partying, and finally having fun. I should've been at this point a LONG time ago, but always lost it due to relationships with women that I eventually found to be "opportunists". The problem now is that I would really like to share what I have, but cant trust anyone to just enjoy it with me, without taking control over it, or doing something to jeoperdize a good thing that I have going. Any hints????? A.K.A. ... (How do I share what I have with someone yet still let them know that there's NO WAY in HELL that i'd trust them to be involved with what ive worked so hard to get, that provides for me, and hopefully them too, if they dont get greedy). This may sound pretty sad, but it's genuinely sincere. I cant STAND opportunists, and most people in general, tend to be. How do I communicate this???

I have been around my best friend for two years. She and I (I am a boy) used to do everything together. Whenever we were not in Uni we were always together. We were never practically seperated. Over the last term she has fancied this guy loads, and was falling in love with him. They were trying to spend all their time together and not telling me they were always doing this but lie. Now my best friend has broken up with her old boyfriend and they are now both seeing each other. I have gone on holiday for a while now but when I return I fear that I will have basically lost my best mate. All the stuff we used to do together will now be done by those two and I won't be able to catch her alone for a while without the guy being there. And whenever I try and tell her how I feel, she tells me that the relationship is changing and it will never go back to how it used to be. And I bascially end up arguing with her, and then the boyfriend also gets involved and thinks I am out of order.

I was with this guy from London (I live in Manchester), on and off for about a year. My daughter loved him to bits and he loved her. We had a very passionate relationship which meant that we had a lot of pasionate heater arguments as well as the good stuff! Well, when we spit up I thought it was just one of those split/get back together things... but he wouldn't return my calls or my emails, for months! He then changed his mobile number and email address so that I couldn't contact him at all!

I just found out that he met someone shortly after we split and five months later - married her! Apparently, they are happy. But how can they be? He still loves me, and I still love him (over a year later). Although I haven't spoken to him since we split, I think about him all the time.

Should I contact him somehow and tell him I still love him? Why did he marry her - he must have been on the rebound (so it will never work anyway!)
