I'm 19. Almost every lady I know who's married and old enough to be my mother says that I'm the kind of guy who she would date if we were the same age and she was single.
But all the girls my own age say I'm a nerd or a loser or something like that and won't even consider dating me.

Because (at least in my case) when I was younger I was all about the chase, the guy who was hard to get was much more fun because of the challenge!! That didn't always mean he was the best choice, just the most fun to catch! Now that I am older (38) I see things a little differently and the guy who has the kindest heart and best sense of humour would win out over the bad boy any day!

That is because you may be a little too mature for women your age. Also women between 18-25 years of age have high standards for what they want in a man. They want someone who is tall, dark, handsome, rich, etc. Once they reach 25 and older, they aren't as discriminating and look for someone grounded and stable. Also younger women tend to go for the bad boys. It is after getting treated badly by the bad boys and maturing they look for you.
Take heart. You just have to relax and not overthink the dating game. Play the field and increase your yield.

Because older woman can see the good in you girls your own age are 2years in front of you sexually so sometimes they are looking for some one older and they tend to think men the same age are nerds.
There is a girl out there for you it just takes time

Because older women are sometimes more mature and see you for who you really are. Younger women - the ones your age - are basically airheads and aren't worth the effort anyway. Also, it could be that if they know about your difficulty getting dates with gals your age, maybe they are just saying these things to make you feel better and to help you with your self esteem. Who knows? All women are an enigma to me.

:)))i had nearly the same problem...i didn't worry about it but 90% of females which liked me where elder.but now i have a girlfriend of my age but steel ....hm,i forgot to say that i'm 16 and i have 2 "fans" ,1 of them is 25 years old,she is very very pretty she is devorsed and come to my place every day to just see me but i feel she wants something more but i don't give it to her:D second one is 33 years old,also she has a child 3 years old and husband who works abroad....u know urself and u should answer to ur question "why",but i think it isn't bad that u are popular in elder women:D don't u wanna date with one of them?its really cool,come on,try;)

Because old broads have hindsight and can compare you to past experiences where as girls your age have nothing to go on except hormones. Young girls are crazy bitches.
It can't be all girls though. I'm close to your age and I'd date anyone who calls themself Bodom. COBHC forever, man.

thats cuz those girls that are your age that turn you down are just stuck up morons. they don't take the time to get to know you so thats why they turn you down. but see the women you know that are already married and stuff well they actaully take time to get to know you. so just cuz some girl your age turns you down well consider yourself lucky cuz they don't deserve you anyways. you should look for someone better than them. but don't worry you will find someone who is like your age and actually tries to get to know you for you and not your label. so don't give up. im sure someone will like you. it the whole fact that it takes girls ages to work out what kinda guy they want
young girls want bastards who act cool, and rude, and are prone to cheating and act tough
when they grow up they realise that they want a relaible loving partner
older women see that in you most liekly
