I have a 5 year old step-daughter and I love her very much. I think of her as my child since I don't have any children of my own and she is getting where she calls me mommy sometimes. This past week-end I found out that she feel and cut her eye. I was a really bad cut. Her grandmother told me that when it happened that they thought about taking her to the ER but didn't because my child didn't want to go to the ER. ANd her grandmother also told me that she thought about calling me and my husband but is was late and she new that we had to work to next day. So i asked what time did all of this happen? Her grandmother told me it was after midnight when the accident happen. I asked her why wasn't she in bed and why would they let a 5 year stay up past midnight? Needless to say, that my husband is very upset with the whole thing and with her mom's family. So I guess what I am asking is should I let my husband only deal with her mom's family or should I get involve

girls seem to always say they want a nice long relationship with a nice guy... but they always have a hard short heartbreaking relationship with a "bad" guy... like girls will always go after bad guys who cheat and dont care bout thier gf get drunk all the time idk just a bunch of other stuff... y do girls find them more attractive and find them better and always seem to go for them... i mean sumtimes guys do kinda the same saying they want a sweet nice girl but go out with an attractive popular girl whos a b*tch... but y do girls do that??????

My mom's brother was married and had two kids and then divorced and the kids went to live with his ex-wife. Well, his daughter (my cousin) has a cousin and I was wondering if she was my cousin. (my cousin's cousin that lives with my x-aunt).
CONFUSING!!!!!

Also, if my uncle's old wife still my aunt? or just call her by her name cuzi see her a lot. Also, when my uncle gets married to his girlfriend i am used 2 calling her by her first name, should i switch to saying aunt _____ or just call her her name???

After a row with my partner last night, he is not talking to me. He let me down after we had made plans and i feel hurt and upset. He is trying to put the blame on me but he is the one in the wrong. When I'm around the boy I know he's having fun and we get along great, but as soon as he goes home from visitation she calls griping and says he hates me. She's always asking me not to be around him because it "causes him emotional stress", but he invites me along on visitation. I don't want to say no to him, but continuing to go only makes her more angry. Plus with her constantly saying he hates me and doesn't want anything to do with me, I don't know what to think. What should I do? Believe her and stay out of his life, or just focus on the feedback I get from the son?

I gave up everything and moved in with a guy that lives 800 miles from my family. For a while everything was good but I feel that I have made a mistake. We have now been together for 1 1/2 years and it seem that anymore, I can't get him to pay attention to me. Our sex life is non existent and I have threatened many times to leave or find someone that would pay attention to me. When I do this, things are great for a couple of weeks but then it goes back to the same thing. He has talked of getting married come this New Year but I am not sure about any of it anymore. Much of the time I feel more like a mother and maid then a girlfriend and lover. My self esteem has gone down the tubes and I feel like I have no where to turn. Where we live now, he is extremely close to his family so I feel like he has it all and I am getting nothing. I know that I should leave but everyone knows that leaving isn't that easy. Are there any suggestions for other remedies?

This is how it goes. I went to babysit for a family so the mother could get a job. That was May 13, 2006 On Mother's Day she woke me up at 6:30 am and asked me to watch the 2 1/2 year old little girl. I told her no problem. She took off with her boyfriend ( I didn't know at the time until she called 5 hours later and told me) and later on when her husband called to talk to her she wanted me to lie to him about where she was. Well I didn't. She left her husband and a beautiful little girl for a jerk that can't keep a job.
She did the samething to her son when he was 2 1/2. Please tell me what you think and how do I tell this little girl when she asks me when she is older about her real mom who so far has cancled 3 of 4 vistations? He took her back three times and now he divorcing her. It will be final next week and he has physical custady of there daughter.

OK. I like this guy named Erik. He's like the jock in school we talk alot and he fun. There is another guy who is ok and I sort of like him and his name is Marc. last time i asked a question liked this everyone said that i nedd to just tell them how i'm feeling and handling with there divorce not just say in fine. but its harder then that because im afraid if i say anything there just gonna use it in cout against each other. My wife and I have had so many problems for so long that I'm just beat to death emotionally. I have children and I do not want to leave them, but I feel the need to have a woman who I can trust to turn to. Sadly, that is not my wife. She gives me all the sex I could ever desire, but I need someone to talk to that I can trust. And divorce is not an option for me. I love my children too much to split up their happy home. And it is happy. I am an excellent actor.
