Don't give it to him. There's no reason why he should have it.

DON'T give out your Social Security Number to ANYONE....This is your identity..
If he is signing you up for paypal account tell him you can do it yourself ..That way you are protected and if he is on the level then he shouldn't have a problem with it...IF HE DOES then he is up to no good

Dump him. Your social security number is the key to your identity. He can find out anything about you with it, not to mention get credit cards in your name, etc.

And if you want a PayPal account, you can sign up for it yourself. There's no reason he should set up one for you.

Dump him. He's trying to scam you.

Could be, Don't ever give out your SSN to anyone the only people who should know it are your parents and yourself. If he wants to sign you up for a paypal account tell him to just show you and you'll do it yourself.

First, don't trust anyone who asks for your SSN, unless he's a bank official or some other institutional representative with a good legal reason to do so.

Second, you can open your own Paypal account, you don't need your boyfriend to do it for you.

Boyfriend or not, nobody better than yourself to handle your own financial affairs.

How long have you been friends?

Do not give out your SS#! He could sell it, use it to set up accounts, get credit cards, loans, all in your name!

Watch Judge Judy sometime and see how messed up BF can get when doing something like this. It's just asking for trouble. BIG trouble.

Obviously you don't seem to feel any good about this at all. If you're suspicious about his true motives... that's a warning signal and maybe you should be worried. It could be a lie, yes. You need to ask him more questions abt this.

Do not give him your SS#.

If you want a PayPal account (assuming that they even ask for your ss#), do it yourself when he's not around and can't see what you're typing in.

Don't know... However, unless you have some fairly uncommon
financial relationship for boyfriend/girlfriend (like you jointly own
a house), he doesn't need it.

And generally, he shouldn't have it.

This could be the first step in a "con job" on you waiting to happen. I would not be giving him that number.
