Go to a courthouse and file for divorce. Only lawyers are expensive. If you two can come to an agreements about everything you won't need one. The court fee is pretty small but depends on what state your in I think.

Depends on where you live.
There are even kits for a do-it-yourself divorce. What about anullment? It is still better to have legal council. Call your County, you might be able to utilize their free services. Most divorces take 4-6 weeks once filed. Any contesting will slow the process.

If it will be an uncontested divorce it is not hard to do yourself. There are even books on how to do it. Or you can find a lawyer that will do it for around $100. Shop around.

Have a para-legal fill the papers out for you. You'll be going into court PRO-SE. You'll only pay the time for the para-legal....court costs and process serving fees....Less than $500 .....complication will be ....WIFE hires a big time lawyer....and you try to fight in court PRO-SE.....You could end up having to hire a big time lawyer too.... costing you anywhere from $2500-$7000.....

If you both agree....before hand....communicate your wishes to each other.....handle everything on your own....and do it together PRO-SE....you've cut out the DO WE CHEATEM AN HOW ppl!!!!
