try to be the insigater ask them if they want to go out to eat after work .. if old enough ask to go out for a few cocktails or what not...
be forward and don't stop asking! but dont look deperate either..
ask them to lunch if you think after work is too informal...
be the one to ask some and have good conversations with them...
meaning try not to talk to much about yourself ask questions about them call them by name, everyone likes to talk about themself and people like to hear there names... the more you do this the easier it will get.
you are your own person and that's what makes you differnt don't confuse being differnt as a flaw...

talk to them find out their interests ask for advice on something you need help with that involves your job
