I loaned a friend some money, it has been 6 weeks. She mentioned it once!, and now she just left town for business, went to Reno, and invited her boyfriend. In the past she has paid me back on time, should I be angry, should I ask for my money back, or should I just chalk it up as an expensive lesson, and call it a day ?, Right now I am strapped for cash, and I could use the money.

Yeah it sounds like she needs a little reminder. Just say something like hey I could really use that money you owe me, cause I need to pay this and this... I'm sure she'll understand as she was in a position to have to borrow in the first place.

If you lend somebody money, they are sure to remember you. Next time they need money.

Ask WHEN you will get the money back. Then call the day after. You should DEFINITELY ask for the money back.

And never lend money to her again.

If it is bothering you, you should ask her about it. She may have forgotten it or believes you don't need it right now. Next time have her sign a promissory note. Don't let money destroy a good friendship.
