the good guy is everything i could ever want but the bad guy is the love of my life. i known the bad guy for 7 yrs and we have been through a lot so i dont want to loose everything we have worked on. he dosent realize what he has yet...i know one day he will see but i know my worth and i know i deserve better. the good guy wants to give me the world but i want to give the bad guy the world. the bad boy isnt bad he just isnt good. my mind says the good guy but my heart says the bad guy. do i follow my heart or listen to my mind. please help me...xoxo

Being married for almost a month my husband was upset with me and as we both argued over something very minor; he spits on my face. The following month, he did it again but this time he had me pinned down on the floor and that was his last time. The arguements excalated to be more physical as in his bullying tactics and twisting my arms and on the 11th month of marriage he tried to suffocate me. I did fight back until that last night but I guess what Im asking is do they ever change? No argument was over something major as in cheating or anything like that. The arguements usually consist of me spending time with my kids ages 21, 20, and 15) all gone but one at home. I am now in the process of a divorce - suffocating me made me run this time. I guess I just wonder why men do this and if they change? But, my biggest question is what did he mean by spitting on my face. What could I had expected if I had stayed with him longer?

before the divorce in 2000 my lil sis died,couple months after that my mom left for 3 yrs in 2003 she pop up and told my dad theyre having a divorce 3yrs later i didnt want to do work or care about me i just felt like sleeping and go to a dark room friends tell me i will be ok so now everday i clean and when i go to bed i cant sleep am i lazy or don't care about me i dont know i think my parents really cared they would of went to counsling and talk theyre problems out instead of fighting and yelling and my mom now is poor my dad is better than my mom i love them both is life putting to the test on me it feels like it!!

I LOVE MY BIG SIS WITH ALL MY HEART, BUT LAST NITE IT SHOWED SHE DOESN'T LOVE ME. MY SISTER HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE SHY ONE, NO PERSONAITY, AND NO CONFIDENCE. SHE BLAMES ME CUZZ WHEN WE WERE YOUNGER I WAS THE ONE GETING THE ATTENTION. BUT LAST NITE WAS A FAMILY GET TOGETHER AND I WAS TELLING A FRIENDLY FAMILY JOKE, EVERY1 WAS LAUGHING AND HAPPY UNTIL MY SIS GOT UP AND SLAPED ME! I WAS LIKE WTF! I WAS READY TO FIGHT. THEN SHE STARTED YELLING AT ME AND SAYING HOW MUCH SHE HATES ME! NOW I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT! My daughter learned this nasty habit from her father! He's bitten his nails since he was a child and wont stop for anyone, despite my anger about it or the affect it has on our kids. He is TRYING to be more careful about biting them while she's around, but he still does it when she can see. I cannot get him to stop. Can I get my daughter to stop? I tried the bitter stuff for almost a month now, and though she has cut down, she still bites them. I am continuing to punish with time outs and have tried spanking a couple of times, but nothing works. Other than getting a divorce and getting sole custody (lol) is there ANY hope of dealing with the problem in my daughter while she is still young?

Okay me and this boy named William have been talking he would call me everyday and even at 1,2,3,4,or even 5 in the morning and we would talk for about 2 hours! We both liked eachother and I still like him but we were at the public pool and William's best friend,Dustin's,cousin,Brent,was their and this dude named Dylan was like tryin to be all over me (if u know what I mean) but I wouldn't let him well Brent told Dustin which told William that he was all over me and now William won't even talk to me Dustin tryed to talk to him about me but Dustin said William didn't even wanna hear about me and I have no clue why he won't talk to me!! I was riding with my boyfriend in his truck. I picked up his phone just to be a little nosey. Years ago when we dated he cheated and I have given him another chance. I figured he didn't have anything to hide this time since he always says he does not. He snatched his phone from me and yelled at me even after I handed mine to him. When I was growing up I was always fending off rude pinches and grabs from my father. He often "accidentally" came into my room when I was coming back from the shower and changing. He flirted with my friends and often made rude comments about women's bodies. Sometimes I would wake up to find him staring at me wearing nothing but underwear. A handful of times, he got into bed with me and touched me. I told my mother about all of this. I started complaining at the age of 14. She discussed it with him and he told her he just didn't want me to grow up to be a cold woman. Over the years. I have told him not to touch me and then, when I haven't said anything for a while, he will start making the old moves again. Now I am 36. I had another talk with my mother and told her to talk to him again. I also told him I never want him to touch me again. This problem has plagued me for my whole life and has seriously affected my self-esteem and my relationships with men.

I have a 8 year old step child who is just mean and rude, the manners thing is coming slowly, but we have no idea how to teach this child compassion. If he doesn't get his way he is just completely mean with his words, we send him to his room or take away stuff ( I should mention hurting peoples feelings being mean with his words, pokes at his brothers wounds or sores hits his brother or other children if he feels they deserved it) but after time in his room we to talk to him about it and we explain why he was sent to his room again, why its wrong to be mean or hurt someone and how important it is to deal with being upset by not hitting (we don't hit our children) he still thinks he has that right know matter what we say. and I should mention this, if he does get into trouble he will cry he actually crys alot. We can't figure this out. We could really use any advice anyone has. At this point we are seeking a therapist for him.

It seems all the sites that I have gone to are asking for subscriptions to actually see the info about the names they claim to have in their databases. They tell you they have info on a surname and then direct you to get a monthly or annual subscription. I've already searched Ancestor.com, Ged web and Family Tree Maker.
