HA HA HA... OK, I have to admit, we don't have any kids, and sometimes we leave the door open so we can talk, and such. Sometimes one is in the shower and the other is using the toilet... there's no shame in our marriage, and we don't care... it's easier than shouting through the door if someone has something to say, but it's not like the other one is in the room holding their hand, or jsut sitting there to keep them company. HA HA, yeah... the first time I walked by and was talking to my husband while he was urinating, when he was done, he looked at me and said "well, now we know, the honeymoon is over!"

Why not? If a couple is truely married in every sense of the word they are comfortable with each other no matter what the situation. There might be certain times when one or the other would rather not have anybody in the room and they would say so. Love Is Love and it is able to withstand anything even being in the room when someone is on the toliet.

There is no should here. There is no obligation to keep him company on the toilet. I do feel if you are intimate enough to be married there is nothing wrong with keeping each other company on the toilet.

No. How could you keep any passion in a marriage if you hang out on the toilet together? There are boundaries, even in a marriage.

Should is really the wrong word, because noone should ever have to smell my fiance in the bathroom but there is no shame between the two of us we talk to each when we are in the bathroom all of the time.

This cracks me up! The modesty will pass quickly for the women once they give birth in front of their hubbies. So why not?

I think space is an important part of any relationship. This may be the time that one would want their own space.

No! That is private. No one needs company while doing their business unless they have a disability or something.
