my parents are wierd, we don't spend much time together, about 3 hours a week, max. And since they're always working, i have to take care of the house, make dinner and stay ontop of my homework. And i do it everyday of the year, EVEN, When I'm sick. And they act like they rule the house, when in reality i could easily change the locks so they can't get in.I maintain the house, when i do see my parents we do almost nothing but arguee, and i've been stronger than them since i was 10 so they stopped trying to beat me up as punishment, They may make the money, but i will be doing that myself soon. I want to just leave my house early (17) and let them see what happens to the inards of "their" house and what little relationship they have left. I really don't know when they come home every night, i just know that during the night i hear them about.Is it normall to resent them this much? How bout morrally correct for them to make me take care of the house for little more than food as payment?

My mom left when I was 3 I'm 18 now and I just recently learned she wants to be a part of my life again. I'm torn part of me wants to run to her and pretend nothing ever happend and yet on the other I just wanna go off on her for walking out on me and dad. Any advice at all would be appreciated

My husband is 28 years old, 6'0, 305 pounds, smokes a pack 1/2 a day. He is a paramedic working 3 jobs. He sits in an ambulance ALL DAY! and when he is home he is sleeping or laying on the couch. He has bad knees so he can't walk for long, or ride bikes with us. I go to the gym and he laughs. I really need some help. I do the cooking however I work all day. So if I am cooking I cook something very easy as he doesn't eat till later on at night. I will warn you all I am not a good cook and when I try to cook something other than chicken nuggets and mac n cheese I get the YUCK face from all. Its very upsetting. I love him to death and I really need some advice before something happens to him. Worse is he is in the medical field and stubborn as anything. Please I love him. He is my soulmate and best friend and want him to be around for a long time. He means the world to me! Any websites with easy recipes. Thanks for all that respond.

My friend is currently dating this girl he's fallen in love with...
Yet she wants him to change one thing : She wants him to be less shy than he is.
Being shy was always how my friends gotten attention from girls.
They love each other..

Its really a long story, so to make it short...Ive had this friend since the 7th grade and we were so much alike. But ever since she got this job sophmore year of high school, I think that shes really changed and were not so alike anymore. My family moves a lot, and with that comes time to make new friends. You'd think through out the years i'd learn how to make new ones easier, but each time it seems to be harder. Her mother recently called me to say that she had been involved with the wrong kind of crowd. My friend of 15 years had gone off over the weekend to some wild party.

I didn't really expect this from her since we are both grown up and far too intelligent for mistakes like this. But after what I heard what happened-I was shocked.

My friends mom had told me that she came home at 5am Saturday passed out and one of the party go-ers had to drop her off. She told me that my friend didn't really know what happened since she was so drunk, then she told her mom that she had been involved in a train and she was a little embarrassed and scared since she is sure the men weren't using protection.

I have known her to be very careful with that, I couldn't believe it....

We are both worried about her and her provocative ways. Please explain what that is because we are worried that if she continues she could die of drugs or an STD. What can I do as a friend? What should I do about her?
