My friend was sexually involved in something called a 'train'...What is that?

Her mother recently called me to say that she had been involved with the wrong kind of crowd. My friend of 15 years had gone off over the weekend to some wild party.

I didn't really expect this from her since we are both grown up and far too intelligent for mistakes like this. But after what I heard what happened-I was shocked.

My friends mom had told me that she came home at 5am Saturday passed out and one of the party go-ers had to drop her off. She told me that my friend didn't really know what happened since she was so drunk, then she told her mom that she had been involved in a train and she was a little embarrassed and scared since she is sure the men weren't using protection.

I have known her to be very careful with that, I couldn't believe it....

We are both worried about her and her provocative ways. Please explain what that is because we are worried that if she continues she could die of drugs or an STD. What can I do as a friend? What should I do about her?

To Delisha07 : I was not brought up 'Knowing' what a train is. I was brought up in a catholic home with a silver platter to eat off of. I am an adult career girl. I do know that even if I had an idea what it was, I would have said so myself. I was just unsure, believe me, I'm not that stupid.

I haven't heard the term before, but from the context I would guess it might be a form of orgy in which there are a line of people all having sex with the people in front and behind of them.

I think the main question is whether this is something your friend did one, while she was foolishly drunk, or something she's in the habit of. Frankly, I'd be more concerned about the drunkennness and not using a protection than the sexual experimentation. I'd suggest to your friend that she needs to drink in moderation or else not at all, and that if she really want to try new sexual practices then she needs to do them carefully while sober, not in a way that could kill her.

And yes, she needs to go to a clinic and get tested for everything, and she'll need to go back and get retested in about 6 months, since it can take that long for AIDs to show up on the tests.

First of all, a "train" is when multiple men take turns with a women. Its usually more than say 3 men. Normally the girl is bent over something.
Ok now that all the embarrassing stuff is over. She should consider the fact that she may have been raped. Its sounds to me that some men got together and took advantage of a girl that was very intoxicated or messed up on drugs. Did she remember having alot to drink? Im sure you have heard of the "date rape" drugs that are farely common now.
It is also possible that she was just out having a good time though, and im not saying that anything is really wrong with that if she is comfortable with it, but thats a quick way to get some stds (which she probably did get from this one experience) Not to mention AIDS is a crappy way to die!

well imagine that a line of boys is the train and your friend is the stop and every car of the train stops at the stop. clear enough. scary business and if she doesn't remember using protection i would take straight to a clinic and get all the necessary tests and some counseling. other than that the truth is that there isn't much you can do for her. if she put herself in that position she probably wanted to be there. Ive had a few close friends head down this road and through painful trial and error Ive found that they can only help themselves and they wont stop until they are ready. many of them feed off of the attention they get from being involved in outrageous things. If she told her mother that and didn't try to hide it she may be craving the attention,or else why would she admit to having done it.

a "train" is when a person male or female has sex with multiple partners at the same time. imagine a train on a track behind the front of the train are caboosts (the rail cars) there can be several cars or very many depending on how long the train is. Please talk to her about her drinking and/or drug usage, because if she continues with this destructive behavior AIDS is in her future

A train means the girl had sex with 7 or more guys and was willing. If she was not aware because she was unconcious, drunk, or high then it probably qualifies as rape.

At 15, she might be under the local age of consent, so it may be statutory rape even if she was aware.

THAT is NOT COOL AT ALL! Your friend needs to calm ALL OF THAT DOWN RIGHT NOW!!! There are so many STDs out there it aint even funny. She needs to get tested for EVERYTHING and get a pregnancy test as well! And she needs to STOP kickin it around those types of people it wll just get worse! If your friend really did have a train ran on her trust me the problem would have solved itself. (Unless she has no brains and just a ho of which she is headed for an STD and pregnancies.)

FYI: She really does need to get professional help and she may already have an STD. I refuse to explain what a train is cause if you really are an adult you would have already knew.

EVERY girl goes through the wild phase where they just do bad things (guys, if you think your girl is a perfect angel, she's hiding something or she hasn't reached the phase yet).

Your friend needs to go to the clinic and get tested, it is very important. She is lucky if she doesn't get a virus which can't be cured.

Her mom should be more protective of her daughter, it is the mom's fault.

Take her to the doctor to get checked because if they busted a train on her... First of all a train is when more than one person has sex with you it's like one after another after another. untill all the guys have had a turn at doing her. This is serious she eeds to go to the doctor like NOW and get checked. She needs to watch herself and you need to tell her to watch it cause she could get hurt or worst aids.

I'm not sure, but I believe it is basically a line of guys, each taking his turn with the lady of choice. There may be other definitions, but this is what comes to mind.
