My family moves a lot, and with that comes time to make new friends. You'd think through out the years i'd learn how to make new ones easier, but each time it seems to be harder. I've stayed at my location for about 2 years now, and I've developed about 2 close friends, but I can't seem to find new ones. I've joined activities, but I can't seem to bond with them that well. I feel like people ignore me sometimes when i try to befriend them. HELP HELP HELP

I found that when I stopped looking for friends and just acted as I would normally friends started coming to me. When I actively looked people ignored me and seemed disinterested. When I just participated in activities I would have normally and participated as I would normally, people seemed more interested in getting to know me.

Like your family, mine used to move a lot, too. I know how you feel. Before I arrived in Germany,...I've been to five different schools, because we moved from one Island to another in my native country. I was only in fourth grade that time. You know, at some point in time ...you have to accept and love yourself for who you are. You are the way you are because of your very own personal experiences and life made you that way. Time reveals the quality of friendships. Too many so-called friends.... are often based on superficial friendships- the more gossips and heart aches. Two close friends?...that's great! Cherish them and be the best friend to them you can be...before you move again. Relax and enjoy life.

Don't try to hard, just be yourself.
And heck, everytime you move to a new place, you can experiment with different personalities until you find yourself / how you get along with others best.

be happy u have 2 friends . don't ever think u can find friends on the internet cause the people are all wierd "O"s.
