My mom and I fight alot, she calls me names, and makes fun of me for not having a boyfriend, saying I'm too fat or ugly to get one. Ever since I turned 18 we have been fighting and she says she doesn't care if I was to die. Then other times, its like we're best friends, how do I ignore her painful insults, I figure, she's my mother, if she thinks that about me, what must the other people in this world think, some advice would be helpful right now, because I don't know how to boost myself up after she gets done with me.

I love alternative bands and punk stuff but my mom doesn't like that. She doesn't like my bands (especially Panic! At The Disco) She calls them the "weird band" and I get upset at her. I just went 2 see them in concert (without her there even though she knew I was going) But before, I asked her about 2 months ago if I can go & once I told her Panic! At The Disco was alternative she said "I'm not taking u! Someone else is going 2 have 2 take u! U know how those alternative bands dress!" So then I was mad at her for saying that, she had never even been 2 an alternative band. Anyway while I was at the Panic! At The Disco concert, my mom was in the house with my little sister (who also doesn't like punk bands & stuff) and they were watching the "I Write Sins..." video. (I guess it was bcuz my mom wanted 2 see what I would be listening 2.) When she saw the circus people in the video, my mom told my sister, "I don't want her (me) 2 dress like that" I'm ashamed 2 be myself bcuz of my mom

Words to remember for a while:

Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree
Boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they're afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the
rotten apples that are on the ground, that aren't as good, but easy.
So the apples at the top think that there is something wrong with them, when in reality, they are amazing.
That is why we just have to be a little patient and the right boy, the one who takes a chance to find the good, right apple,will come someday..or may have come already.....

I see on this site all the time about girls wanting a good guy. I also see girls say they want bad boys. The remarks made state that when a woman decides to settle down she will look for a good guy. Question is, Why would a good guy want you after you have been rode hard and put up wet by the bad boys?

I've been dating this guy for a year and two months. I'm still in high school, and he is going away to college. We've hardly hung out at all this summer and I think it's about time we give it a break. I'm interested in dating other guys but I would still like to go on dates and be good friends with my current boyfriend. Can't it be okay to just date and not have a boyfriend? I'm decent lookin bout 5'8" 170 pnds lean and somewhat toned. hard workin, but like to have fun with my girl. i go to the gym 6 days a week i'm a nice guy but will protect my girl at all costs. based on this would you be interested in gettin to know me better or am i the kind of guy you laught at.

me @ this girl hav been in luv for 7 yrs it was luv @ 1st sight for her sumthin like dat for me we are each others 1st love.
we got 2gether in 3rd grade. trust me it was not infactuation cuz what we felt was luv i asked many what they thought. it lasted for a year and half, one day we had a class trip in 4th gr. and i peed myself and for 4 mths after that she stopped talking to me, gave me & attitude & temper for nothing & i saw her with some1 else i cried i missed her. i knew she still luved me i could see it her actions. near the end of 4th gr. and the 1st half of 5th grade she stopped seeing the other person & started talking to me & showing me love & we almost got together again i stoped hanging with her cuz i got really shy & afraid her around her i guess she thought i didn't love her anymore. since then one minute she sooo in love with me next she's ignoring me & giving attitude and temper over & over again like a cycle. i believe she has she has issues cuz she know i luv her

A few months ago my husbands college girlfriend contacted him on myspace. This is a girl he lived with for a year and was in love with. They only split up because she went to another college. They wrote back and forth a few times before he told me about it. His excuse was he was not sure what she was going to say and he did not want me to get mad if she still wanted them to be together. I was a bit upset but allowed it to happen and said that he needed to remain honest with me about her intentions. They have been writing for a few months now. Then last week he was contacted by his highschool sweetheart. Yet another girl he spent time with and said I love you to. He found out she has had a few kids and is now divorced, but he did not tell me. I heard him telling his mother about things that were going on in her life. i have found atleast 4 pairs of womens underwear in my house in the last 3 months and i know its not cause he is cheating because i know whose underwear they are i have also found pictures of my female friends and family made into collages right along with the panties....how common is it for a married man to steal other womens underwear...im not bad looking i am 25 years old and 110 lbs we have a fairly active sex life and he has never asked anything odd or freakish of me he is not the player type and is fairly shy but we have been together for 11 years and married for 3 years..he says it has nothing to do with me but he cant seem to tell me why?? I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years now and we have an 11 month old daughter together. Ever since our daughter has been born, we have been arguing about everything. Like what doctor to send her to, when to take her a bath, what to feed her, whether or not to take her to day care. We always seem to wanna do things differently. He gets mad at me when I don't do things his way. I get sooo depressed when he gets mad and we start arguing. I really love him with all my heart, but it doesn't seem like it's working out. He can make me the happiest person in the world, but also the most miserable person in the world. I don't wanna break up. I really wanna work things out. What should I do??? Please help!!

Help! My fiancee and I are getting married Aug 25 at the courthouse, but would like to have a small, informal reception following. We have found a great location at a "lodge" at a local park, which we can rent for $160 for four hours. Since we are on a tight budget, this is a great price for us. We also are blessed to have a caterer in the family, and are able to get discounts on decorations as well. Do you have any suggestions for planning such a informal reception? We would like to keep some of the "traditional" aspects (garter and bouquett toss, etc.) but would really like to keep it low-key. Any help?
